nice to see you are having fun! be safe. memories of my childhood days in guimaras island (my mother's home island). our little barrio (magamay, nueva valencia...magamay literally means small) had our own little sand bar with a small hut in the middle, it was called "pasil"....on family outings we would all take food and stuff out to the bar and we could walk to it during low tide with the water up to our waists but of course we took some small boats with us to carry our stuff. it was a couple of miles out from the beach.

You should check out Siquijor Island. Just an hour of boat away from Dumaguete. They got gatorade blue river and white sand beach with a 30 meters jumping cliff.
