I stopped watching when the ID was NoCal as I'm in SoCal. My only experience trying to buy wholesale was in the 70's, and you needed all sorts of licenses/permits. I'll still watch, in case there is transferable info, but at a later time. Please come down south and share what's avail for us

Hey John when you juice the cactus pears the seeds don't get stuck in the screen of the Vert? I juiced apples with seeds before and the seed pieces clogged up some of the holes in the screen. Had to poke them out with a cloths pin. I have a Vert 350 HD

Is there a standard weight or count for a 'case'? You mention buying a case multiple times, but how are you calculating the value between two different sellers when buying a 'case'? If they vary, how do you calculate on the fly the conversion between $/piece vs. $/lbs

Let me know if you you find anything like that here. Ive been looking too. It seems like there's a couple wholesalers but nowhere where there's a bunch of wholesalers together. Federal fruit and produce company is one them. Not sure if you need any sort of business /retail licence to shop there though.

My nearest wholesale produce place is a 100-mile roundtrip drive. The savings on the produce isn't worth the gas unless I buy a rather large amount. If I wanted maybe 200 pounds of tomatoes for some strange reason, it might be worth the drive. The problem is, from the best I can tell, the "wholesale prices" are almost identical to the retail prices at the big stores around here. You literally have to buy a large amount to save any money and if you waste any of it, you're not saving money. Of course, this is at my nearest "wholesale" produce market. Either the prices I'm getting are not the wholesale prices, or the big stores around here are getting their stuff cheaper due to bulk buys. I'd probably be better off finding a local farmer and asking them to buy a bushel of something.
