I know you have said this in other videos but maybe someone watching is new to your channel. About doing your own shore excursions, you should have mentioned to just keep track of the time the ship is scheduled to leave and return with time to spare. By the way, great tips.

There are several components to spending less while on cruise trips. One plan I found that successfully combines these is the Carls Cruise Cutter (google it if you're interested) it's the best blueprint that I have ever seen.look at the amazing info .

here's several things for cutting costs on cruisesBook restaurant packages. You can always save money by eating in the free dining venues.Book spa treatments on port days. Spas often discount services on days in port or during other slow times.Go on your own on shore trips. Cruise lines offer a variety of shore excursions in every port of call they visit but charge for them. Save on your bar bill with discounted packages.Don't waste your wine! If you order a bottle of wine with dinner and can't finish it, ask your waiter to cork it and save it for you for another night. (I read these and why they work from Arack ship tips website )

Although you do save money with "outside" excursion companies, there are risks. My experience was a not-so-great excursion in Belize (on an old bus then a kinda crappy tour boat) that ended with me hurting my knee when I fell getting off the boat. I went to the medical center on the ship and they were very attentive and seemed quite concerned that I injured myself...until I told them it was not an excursion booked through the cruise line. They immediately told me it would cost $125 to see the doctor. I still got very good care, but the attitude shift was shocking to witness. To me, excursions booked through the cruise line are worth the extra money.

here's several things for saving money while on cruises Look for restaurant special deals. Askonboard or keep an eye out for the occasional alternative restaurant deal to save money on a special meal. Do not over tip. Most cruise lines add to your cruise bill a service fee that covers your cabin steward and dining staff. Disconnect your phone at sea. Calling ship-to-shore has always been expensive. Look for drink specials. If you don't drink enough to make a ackage pay, look for special discounts. Bring your own drinks. Many lines are won't let you bring alcohol onboard (or they'll charge you a corkage fee), but a few let you bring on soft drinks, juice, bottled water and iced tea. (I discovered these and the reasons they work on Arack ship tips site )

I booked a guaranteed balcony obstructed for an amazing price and got a great upgrade to extended balcony on deck 8 because this will be the third time with Carnival counting down the days , I believe Carnival also offer a free bottle of wine 🍷 on your first night in their speciality dinning not sure if that offer applies here in Australia 🇦🇺 will check it out great video🇦🇺🚢💕

Hello Gents! I just discovered your channel and now I'm binge watching all your videos. Just one thing I want to point out, is that for getting local currency, we find that most countries have ATM networks that are accepted in the US (I'm American), and that we can easily withdraw funds from an ATM in that country. Doesn't work in all countries, but most.

Hi Derek. They are sometimes called Pre-Paid cards. We currently use Revolt and have previously used Caxton FX too.

Hey Ronda. Yes, it is card you can add overseas currency too and you can use it in shops or at ATMs. For example I can 'Top-Up' with $300 and then use it just like a Debit card. There are lots out there but some charge fees so be sure to shop around.

Hey Jenny, we both work fill time on top of the channel. We always book a bargain and keep an eye out for any deals. We are flexible when we can sail so we tend to cruise off season and out of the holidays.
