@pdxxmatt GT Line is just the looks and some extra features, but still has the standard Forte engine and transmission. The GT and GT2 are the two trim levels for the upgraded engine with 200 hp. The GT2 is fully loaded.

Our 2013 Sonata with 113K has had no problems at all. Hyundai fixed anything recall related with no issues. I would definitely buy another Hyundai or Kia. Can't say the same for my previous new, dealer-serviced Highlander. Toyota refused to replace the engine well within warranty. I had lots of company with this serious VVTI flaw that Toyota refused responsibility for at 48K. Never, never again. Hyundai/Kia, definitely yes ....I only know what my own experience has taught me.

Get ready for a long comment: Just got ours for $26,045 on Monday (yesterday). It’s a 2024 Forte GT-Line with the GT2 package, so it’s got all the bells and whistles: full leather seats, heated and cooled seats, power driver seat, rear usb port, rear vents, and wireless charging pad. Also came with all the fancy driver assist features on it too like super cruise and lane keep assist, it’s in a metallic steel color I think.. so it’s like a steel silver, and then has all the red grille accents and the red front splitter and black rear wing. It’s very nice. But it does have the 2.0 n/a i4 and not the 1.6 turbo i4, so it is down on power (147hp) but it does have the better gas mileage and all that and it won’t be as expensive on repairs if like a turbo were to go out on the turbo engine. So I guess that’s a plus. It’s also fwd so that helps with gas mileage too. But it’s amazing, we love it! It’s first day we just got through with it and my mother took it to work in today for her first time. She also loves it. ❤️

He gave us like a $1500 discount I think.. so it’s more like $24,500, and we’re paying about $460 a month for it I believe, I’ll have to check.. our payments don’t start until mid-June. But it was an amazing deal and purchase! We love it!

The GT2 package comes with Turbo and a DCT transmission. You got a regular GT-Line with an IVT transmission.

@@jlee5490 the gt2 is only on the GT models. We got a GT-line. It has the GT-Line Premium Package and the GT-Line Sport Premium Package. On the Kia website it says the GT2 package is available on the GT model, and it includes the ten way power driver seat, heated and ventilated front seats, led interior lighting, rear parking sensors, a sunroof, the eight speaker Harman Kardon premium audio system, and sport seats with SynTex seat upholstery and red stitching. Our GT-Line has all the packages it offers. The color is Steel Gray. You can’t get the 1.6l turbo and dct in the GT-line either.

Got a 2014 lx with a 6 speed. Great car! Gets 48mpg on the open highway for long trips. Got enough pep to run v6 na cars handles great! Like great I love cornering when most people slow down I drop a gear and rip it! I’ll keep this car forever

This is one of the best entry cars on the market. Bang for buck is great when you compare it to the old Nissan Versas that would go for around 20k or slightly under, and it was literally just a box with wheels and no features or comforts.

I have the 2024 kia forte GT with push to start and I can control everything from my app this car so far is great. when I drove it off the lot it had 9 miles on it so far get 38.9 mpg you get no complaints out of me I've had it for about a month however I will update at the 6th month mark here

I my 2023 kia forte gt line. My was a bit more than the regular gt line because of the premium sports package dealer. Meaning heated/cooling seats. The only thing that sucks is the paint job. Paint is easily damaged by rock chips. Compared to My 2014 focus, kia just fails in paint. My focus never had chip. Also there is no garage door opener. If you don't driving carefully to avoid chips and minor garage door opener feature, its a must buy! Costco auto program is the absolute best price! They can't go any higher than msrp. Black color is a few hundred bucks extra for some reason.

I’m trading in my 2023 forte lxs for a 2024 gt line here soon within this week I hope. My current car doesn’t come with remote start, Kia connect isn’t available for it, and the push to start would be much nicer than resorting back to a key ignition. Before my lxs I had an 2011 Nissan Altima that was push to start and when I got my 23 lxs I was disappointed in the key ignition lol can’t stand it.

I have a 2021 forte GT line and it's been an amazing car for me I bought it brand new with 11 miles on it an it has 81,000 at this point and is beautiful I take very good care of it an don't beat on it in sport mode or anything I always give it the best oil change and it's been a fantastic car I highly recommend them !! Great looking with great gas mileage and reliability!

I bought my GT manual for 24K OTD, better engine, tires, suspension, brakes, and transmission. Just get the top of the line, unless you really need quieter, softer ride and 45 mpgs, then GT Line or EX is great.

Me and my mom got in a really bad t-bone accident back in like 2012 that totaled our forte. A Honda CRV hit my side (passenger) at 40 mph. Spun us 360°, the front of the car was basically gone, my door was pushed in against my leg, the tire was bent up underneath the car, all my airbags deployed…. I walked out completely fine. I currently own a 2022 Forte and have complete confidence while driving it. And that’s not even talking about all the new technology there is. I was driving on the freeway late one night. My car started beeping at me that there was a forward collision warning. I was so confused bc there were no brake lights or hazards or anything, but trusting my car I started to hit the brakes. That’s when I realized that the car in front of me was at basically a dead stop because a mattress had fallen on the road. But because they didn’t have any hazards or brake lights and it was very dark, I couldn’t tell. But my car could. And I stopped just in time.

If you don't beat on it like a crazy person and you take good care of it then yeah I bet it would go for 500,000 miles mine is damn near silent when it's sitting at idle you can't even tell the engine is running an it has 81,000 miles on it right now I also baby mine an have since I bought it with 11 miles on it ! Always get a full synthetic oil change an do them regularly!

@@Thakidd.taeeee I bought it New with zero miles and I’ve been using it for Lyft and Uber almost full time. I wasn’t planning to use it that way but yeah you can easily put lots of miles very quick when you drive for rideshare. I’ve been taking care of this car so well too because it’s my only tool to work, so I’ve done all maintenance on time and on point. Already used 3 sets of tires and going for the 4th pretty soon. Also have used 3 Batteries, Put New Brakes, New Serpentine Belt, Brake Flushes, Clean Fuel Injectors every 30k miles, New Spark Plugs, Change Oil every 5k miles (almost every month). I also make sure I do Balancing and Alignment on time, so tires last longer and get better MPG. All that maintenance is normal for any car. I also take my car once every two months to dealership so they do a full inspection, just to make sure everything it’s fine. ( they do it for free) I’ve never had any problems or warning lights turn on. Is my first Kia and I’m also surprised how well it’s running after all this mileage. Most people don’t even take care of their normal maintenance and then complain when the car starts giving you problems. That goes for any brand. Before I bought it I checked the reviews and did my research, this Forte has good reliability ratings and I guess those reviews were right after all lol Also when you buy a Kia make sure your car was Built in Korea and not the U.S. You can check that on your VIN Sticker before you buy. Korean Kias are better built than American Kias.
