Thank you for the video.With that out of the way you're asking for trouble by removing those screws from that overflow face plate without bothering to cover the drain hole because one or both of the screws that hold the overflow face plate in place can and will fall into the drain in which case you will have to break the ceiling under the tub or break open the wall behind the tub to remove the drain trap to retrieve the screws.

I have had that happen, but was able to retrieve the screw with a flexible magnet without too much trouble. Learned my lesson, always put plug in now.

Hey Mr plumber guy I just ran across your how to plumbing video. Great video to by the way I might add.. I just have a couple of quick questions for you if I may.. my tub is backing up when I flush my toilet, and neither one of them is draining like they should be. So if the tub is clogged up, will it cause that to happen to the both of them.. and if so, what's the best device to use to unclog the tub with.. please reply thanks in advance..

thank you. Yes just got home from work, but yes it sounds like you have a main line stoppage. You will have to run a sewer cable machine thru one of your clean out or remove the toilet and run it from there to clear your line.

@@theartofplumbing Thank you, I just ordered 2. I've tried other venders with drop heads and had very poor result (5/16 cable kinks). I've had issues with some of my early 60's Apartment buildings with galvanized back to back units that have the old santees. Most advertised venders can't clear the drains in under an hour+ or at all, the cable go's from one unit to the other and they give up.

@@hammertime313 Yeah those galvanized lines are something to deal with. Hope the drop heads help. It makes it really difficult when they use crosses in the line. I would try to make an access above cross on vent and run it from there if you could. Good luck.
