Been thinking of getting a v35 automatic but worried about have available parts are in Australia. Do you know if parts are more available these days?
@driftcarsjp2 жыл бұрын
Yep oem parts are easy to get out of Japan and there is some good wreckers that sell used parts for these . Best wreckers is Sach imports in Melbourne for V35 V36 etc..

@@driftcarsjp Are the parts expensive and mechanical costs high to maintain these. I'm not really mechanically minded so servicing and maintenance/repairs would need to be done at my mechanic. I'm based in Darwin NT and found a 2003 350gt v35 5 speed automatic with 140000km for 8k in VIC. interior looked spotless and paint looks good too only a slight ding behind the passenger door on the outside. Me and my parents are looking at getting it for my younger brother as we need another car. Just hope we aren't gonna be making a financial mistake haha. But I do imagine the value of these might increase due to hype building up around these things at the moment.

@@ChristopherWhite-yg4hh parts are quite reasonably priced as they share alot of parts with a 350z so you can get suspension parts etc from repco, the engines are very reliable as long as they have been serviced. Check out justjap, gktech ,kudos motorsport and jp-carparts.com for oem parts.

Thanks, what about the tube that its connected to from behind, would that need preventative replacement?
@ryanr93484 жыл бұрын
Gktech make a replacement part. Much much better and retains the bleed port as you have now just deleted the bleed port or a tap in port for a temp sensor
@driftcarsjp4 жыл бұрын
If you use a tall bleed bottle to fill the coolant you won't need the bleed port on the heater hose.

You do realize that metal replacements that retain the bleed valve have been around for over a decade

Yes .. but this is a cheap off the shelf part for people who want a quick easy replacement. Thanks for watching..
