I totally enjoyed this tour. My granddaughter watched much of it with me. Really sweet how you are able to socialize with the different species. The "laughing" fox's voices are so unique. We have foxes, also, but they are wild and predators to our domestic fowl. So, we sometimes have to chase them away. They are also beautiful, in their own way. Thank you for posting your foxes and other friends.

It's called Gingival Hyperplasia, it's a condition where the gum tissue around the teeth never stops growing and as a result those who have the extreme case of this condition must go to surgery to get their gums "trimmed" every so often

@@LetsPlayWalkers the source is usually because of poor dental hygiene but there are a number of other reasons as to why Valentine has this condition. It's also possible she has hereditary gingival fibromatosis which is essentialy similar but different in how difficult it is to resolve considering Gingival Hyperplasia can usually be resolved when practicing proper dental hygiene

You should train it better and be more consequent. It's dangerous for your dog to not listen to commands, not cute. Your dog could injure themselves or others (e.g. when it runs onto the street). So maybe your dog listens to other commands, but not listening to commands for TREATS, the ultimate training tool, shows that you're not consequent in your training in general if what you've written is true. It's already a bad sign, especially because "sit" is the most basic command. Maybe what you wrote was meant as a joke, then ignore this, but if not, you need to rethink your training. For your dog's sake and safety.

@@solar0wind jesus calm down some people allow their animals to be a part of their family not something to boss around. They have personalities just like us and deserve a little respect. Considering how most people treat them like objects and employees. They have hearts and they are definitely better than people. We could learn a lot from them. Maybe you should sit down and shut up. @@DanSlaughter85 Seriously? You don't "boss" them (be it pets or kids) around. You make sure that they listen to you, so they don't get themselves or others in dangerous situations. You know more about surviving in a man made environment than them, so you have the say what is done logically. Every year a dog is KILLED in my area, due to it chasing boars because it was neither leashed nor trained by their owners. My dog has a trauma from untrained, unleashed dogs attacking her. This has happened so often now. If you don't train your dog, it might injure itself or even die or set others (dogs, other animals, or people) at risk. Similar things go for small children. If they don't listen to you, they might run onto the street, maybe even in front of a car. If you think not getting your pets or children killed is inappropriate, then I hope you will have neither. And if you have a dog and it hasn't done anything bad yet, even though it's not trained, that's the same argument as "I'm a chain smoker, and I don't have cancer yet, so smoking must be harmless". Again, training your dog is in its best interest! And if you do it right, the dog will even have lots of fun, since you mostly (at least 95%) train your dog with positive affirmation. The 5% are a strict "No" or maybe shoving your dog out of the kitchen if it doesn't want to leave or something like that. Training is NOT slavery. A shame that I even have to mention it. If done well, it's an opportunity to stimulate the dog's brain (which is an important thing to do) and bond more closely with it. Teaching a child basic manners and basic security measures like NOT running onto a street without looking isn't considered slavery either, is it?

@@cruja8399 That's at least better than nothing I guess! Make sure to praise her a lot when she does what you want her to do if you don't already. I've seen it so often that dog owners struggle to get their dog to do something, and when it finally did what they wanted it to do they just ignore it! Ignoring is some sort of mild punishment, so I'm sure the next time it will even be harder to get the dog to sit. Doing what you want the dog to do should be something great for the dog. If she rarely does what you want, shower her with pets/love/treats or play with her, depending on what she likes the most, whenever she did something well. She should notice that following the command is something awesome to do!😊

Mind completely blown here🤯 I just found you the other day. Immediately subscribed. I had no idea you had so many different animals besides foxes. How do you do it? Feeding and watering the foxes would take a half a day at least. Not only do you have all of these animals, but your house is immaculate and your lawn is freshly mowed. I'm in awe. All the enclosures, gates, fences, and fox houses had to have cost a fortune. I know, because I've had two horses, 2 dogs, and 3 cats all at once. Now I have one rescue dog and 2 rescue cats. The amount of hair and strewn about kitty litter to sweep and vacuum everyday is a lot. I love all animals (the snakes not 100%,) and would love to have an operation like yours along with a parrot sanctuary, as they too are horribly abused and in need of saving, but I know in my heart I wouldn't be capable of doing what you do. It sickens me to my core that foxes are bred and killed for their fur, along with mink, coyotes, chinchilla, wolves, beavers, ermine, raccoons...I know I've left a lot of animals off this list. I can understand Neanderthals using animal fur to keep warm, but there is no excuse now, and there hasn't been for a very, very long time. How disconnected must a person be to buy and wear fur without a thought to the animals who were killed for your vanity and need to advertise your wealth and therefore your privilege, not available to those you consider beneath you? There's a growing awareness of how animals are used and abused to feed us more protein than necessary, and fat that finds its way to the heart through the arteries it clogs, so that's a good thing. So much of the time I loathe humans, the adult kind that is. Then I come across humans like you and think maybe we aren't completely lost after all. Thank you for what you've dedicated your life to.
