However in this video I will show property with view of Lake Como which do not cost the earth. The particular towns I will choose are Mandello del Lario, Bellagio and Bellano which are cheaper than places like Como and Cernobbio.

Very interesting, Giorgio. I was galled by the astronomical prices on the lake when researching properties some months ago. Villas, some not even directly on the lake were asking €10M. I couldn’t believe those sort of prices were commanded. These properties you’ve shown here are great, definitely something to think about. Thanks

I went there and I was wondering how many people live around those villages. Houses seemed kind of empty. So, I walked around and checked number of WiFi hot spots and there was few. Ether old people live or they only use places during summers. Need also to consider air quality. There is a big traffic artery heading into Europe through Como and Chiasso.

It depends on ones needs. If you want a better climate than it is better to retire for 8 months in the south however the North is richer and if you particularly like the lakes then the north is better
