I'm a 64 year old Aussie who used to spend every bit of my pocket money on playing pinnies either down at the local fish 'n' chip shop or at the local Pinball Parlour in town. I had three favourites; This one, The 'Kiss' Pinnie and one that was based on 'Hawaiian Girls'. As the years passed, I moved on from pinball to video games and now I'm back in the frame of mind to get back into pinnies again. I'm going on the hunt for one to stick in the back room. Now I just have to convince the wife... I just told my wife that the only person to blame for this is you guys! Love from down under. I've just subbed. Now I have to go back and check out all your other content!

So glad to see a video on cabinet art redone. … I’ve done maybe over 50 cabs (over many years) …. You did an outstanding job Ronnie. … technically overspray is a ‘mistake’, and many original cabs have huge overspray in a few places. …one flour bleeds into another here and there. … my point is some original cabs have very ordinary finish. Can you do a respray better than original? …You bet you can, and you have demonstrated that principal in this cab. …. The vid also gives folks an idea of just how hard and time consuming pinball restoration is. …it’s kind of hard, demanding work. … but the end result is very satisfying. You should be real pleased with your work. A+++
@LyonsArcade2 жыл бұрын
Thank you Mark, usually I don't really want to repaint the cabinet but this one was so far gone I had to. We've probably only repainted a dozen of them or so over the years...
@markjackson14442 жыл бұрын
… So glad you did clearcoat after the colors. ….. It calms down the different sheens of the colors and gives the whole cab that uniform ‘pinball sheen’. The clearcoat is a must if you want the machine to look right. … also makes it easy to give it a wipe over every couple of years. … and you did it Ronnie. Absolutely dynamite work!
