Right. I think the execution was way different in the viral clip and that’s what makes it funny. The people talking about freeing it and they did such a good job, talking about how they raise the animal back health, but the quick action of the hawk and it’s over an instant. The movie here have the really small predators taking some time to take down the baby and then sticking around, searching for the protagonists. Just not that comedic sudden humor.

Agreed. Nowadays everyone rips on every movie that comes out. If KZbin and internet were available back in the day, we would not be getting more Roger Corman classics, Charles Band and company & his Full Moon Production, or movies like Killer Klowns from Outer Space by Chiodos (or however way it’s spelled), etc etc.
