Your videos are what got me into the plant hobby! I struggle with mental health and let's just say... the weaker plants have not made it. But I keep going and your videos will always help with that 💙

I lost majority of my collection during my hardest times and have worked to build it back up. Plants you can buy more of but there’s only one of you so take care of you and don’t stress about the plants. They’ll be there when you’re ready 🫶🏽 happy you’re here!

Seconding Krystal! And the beauty of succulents is they’re so hardy, you can lose track of time and their care but they’ll be ready for you to come back when you are. You’ve got this

I ran across some of your videos fairly early on when I was getting the hang of succulents. I forget what exactly I needed help with at the time (maybe the aloe or SOP?) but your videos helped! 🎉😄 I now have something like 47 plants according to my succulent tracker app and that’s not counting individual leaf props and a few small arrangements. 🫣😅 No idea what to do with them all. As problems go, I think that’s probably a good one to have. Lol Thanks! 💚💛

I had a poor, neglected succulent that got left out in the rain/heat during summer here. He started exploding out of his pot and grew a giant "doom flower" 😭 I was about to cut it off, but it turned from just green to blooming beautiful red flowers at the end of the stalk ❤ After watching this video, I went to inspect him. Poor baby turned into a monster. I can see where if I snipped the flower stalk off at the side, he'd be ok, but I might leave the flower until it fully opens now because it's looking so pretty and I just want to take a photo. He has plenty of babies too. Unfortunately I'm staying at someone else's house and have no pots/soil/proper place to put them all, no space. My Aloe Vera grew into a huge monster too, and had about 10+ pups now 😭 I don't know what to do with them or the poor mother. Plus a tiny indoor cactus 🌵 that's about to explode out of his pot too, and has babies. They went from tiny indoor plants to giant monsters after all the sun and rain. It's been like a monsoon here in Australia 🇦🇺 Also were covered in spiders and webs but I left most of them alone, as the spiders are the only things killing the horrible pests outside. Omg looking at them makes me want to cry, and I hope I can relocate soon enough and save them all... thanks for the video, it really gave me some good ideas about what to do with the succulent at least... 😢😱🥺🌵🪴

What will happen if we let them grow, like higher?! Are we supposed to cut them because we have to, or you can just let them grow higher and higher? Will they break at some point? The one i have keep blooming and the leaves have started to be pink around the edges 😮 he look happy like that 🙈
@skye_belle8889 ай бұрын
Idk but I think it's unhealthy for them to be all stretched out as it means they're not getting enough sun, so he can't be happy, with flowers some types bloom only when they're about to die. Look up "doom flower". You can cut them off, same with the stretched out parts, repot and definitely move to a more sunny area. It might look nice but he's suffering 😔 🪴🥺
@Alissluvmary9 ай бұрын
@@skye_belle888 Thank you for your advice. That's what I also believed, that it wasn't "normal" for it to grow so high. I'm going to do more research on the subject so that my plants will be more "happy". Although I live in a semi-basement, maybe I should really think about investing in some led lights for indoors plants! Thanks again :)
@misterfoxal86889 ай бұрын
Usually, if you'll let them grow tall and streched out, they will thin out really bad and then eventually die :( Where I live, we have a long winter, with around 6-7 hours of sun a day, and even when sun is there, the clouds usually cover it, so it's kind of gloomy plus the temperature can drop to -30C :D So to prevent them from dieing from frostbite I have no choice, but to bring my succelnts home, where it's from +27 to +30C hot and they immediately start growing and stretching to catch the sun, when there's none xD I had so much succelents die from this, before I got an overall idea of how to keep them alive untill it's safe to get them outside again in spring xD
