@@jase123111 uh, australia to be exact. and by far not in the hottest climates. They are actually pretty resilient to a small degree and usally reside in the more temperate areas of australia, woodlands and grasslands and mostly prefer around 70-80°F (around 40°C on day). they need alot of shadowy places to rest because the sun damages them as well as us. but they are smaller. so they get worn out much faster. Budgies get burned in the sun too. I've raised budgies since i was a child and i know their body language and needs. Some sun is good and all, but too much IS deadly.

That's how world works. Don't u get sad when majority of people on earth are poor live in confined space while rich enjoy most of the resources. It's a fact for every creature. So u see this shopkeeper has not as much money as this youtuber to keep them all happy in a big mansion cage. Shopkeeper's situation is also like those poor birds call it a fate or whatever so he has no other way than running such small business like this to keep his stomach full. U gotta survive in this world right!😅 Yes it is sad to see sufferings and it shouldn't be like this but keep in mind all of us are selfish and things we do is only for our own satisfaction. A breeder with a license to breed birds and a business license to sell them would not have parrots in those conditions. If he had a license the state would inspect his facility and shut him down. Don't give him money. Report him...dont make him rich.

Poor baby looks like she’s never even felt the love and care of a person. While i was on vacation in Mexico, i was driving through the jungle to the airport and saw a white stuck with several cages in the bed. It was full of birds, and i saw budgies, cockatiels and conures. One of the cockatiels looked at me and my heart shattered because i have a cockatiel and i felt horrible for them. Please donate to a bird rescue. Those birds were cramped and scared, and it hurt my heart as a bird lover. I had a hard time holding myself up that day.

Zephyr's Winds I rescued a budgie from a similar situation, I saw a picture and traveled so far because my heart shattered seeing how sad they looked, when I brought one hey gave me a tiny budgie food box and but it in, this box was at least half the size as the one you see in the video now. We named it Ricoh, but he didn’t seem so happy so we went to the same place and brought another one from the same family! I have a big cage and they are chirping so much! I assume they are enjoying it much more than that tiny cramped cage. Long live Ricoh and Rocky!

I'm glad this cute little bird got a loving home but this video is basically a video of what NOT to do in these situations 1. Don't buy birds in these situations. This is enabling the bad breeders, who may even learn to use your pity of their birds to sell unhealthy animals. And they'll continue to do it because people will continue to buy to "rescue". 2. If you end up with a bird from this kind of situation, do NOT, I repeat DO NOT, introduce it immediately to your flock. In general you want to have a quarantine period to make sure a bird is healthy and wont spread some nasty illness or parasites to your other birds. It's doubly important in a case like this where the bird came from such an unsanitary and unhealthy situation and is much more likely to be carrying nasty stuff than a typical pet store bird.

You are so sweet xxx ive been watching you for ages now and 2 days ago my mum wanted to get 2 budgies so she wouldnt be alone. My step dad rejected at first but now he loves them x. They were left to see what we do for a day and the next day I wanted to try stepping up. My 8-10 week old was scared at first but the 6 week old was too afraid. After about 20 mins the 8-10(Mallow) stayed on my finger but wouldn't leave the cage without 6 (blueberry). After an hour the 2 were comfortable around me so I played safely with them for a bit x. My mum came home and was basically crying because she was amazed. I took them downstairs as food was being made on a gas stove-the room they were in. We hugged to keep warm for 2 hours because I didn't want to leave for my dad's but I knew my other 2 pastel and Sammy would wanna come out of the cage. Today my dad learnt how calm they are and that they aren't annoying. This all happened from watching you and experience xxx 😍😘😍❤💕❤

When I saw these animals in this condition, I literally started sobbing. Your a hero for saving one. I wish I could save and keep and care for them all. They literally put the budgie, inside a BOX. A BOX!!! I want to find this animal trader, and sue him, and lock him inside a cage, feed him the improper human diet, and roast him in the sun. Don’t people have passion or feelings for these creatures? Your the only person I know, who would save an animal. I wish I could too, but I’m just a kid. I have a cockatiel, and she seems so happy all the time. So does your new budgie! She looked like she was starving! You literally made her the happiest bird on planet earth! Your a hero!

I hate it when I see ppl treat them as just a commodity. No room, no toys, no perches or shelter shade, sad. Thank God there ate still many good bird owners out there. My sister got her budgie from the markets - there were so many issues. 1. He didn’t let us look at the budgie after he took her out and made us pay straight away. 2. The budgie has multiple deformities from careless breeding and he still sold her to us. 3. We got her in an old dog food box with holes poked into it. This man had so many other bird like lovebirds, cockatiels and sun conures.

This is extremely sad, my hearth is crying everytime I see this things. Is so beatiful what you did there, but I know people will keep selling them in those awful conditions, and this is even more sad. @Brownie Swirl That's sad but at some point it HAS to start. Some birds will die, but they are sick anyway and I bet Bella will die soon also. It is part of the strategy of cruel breeders to trigger sympathy in potential buyers for these birds, that's why they treat them so bad. You do NOT help any birds by bying them at places like this.

Please quarantine her. I know she would like to be with fellow budgies, but for the sake of health of the other 3 birds, quarantine is crucial. You can give her personal 1 on 1 attention that way as well.
