You should try converting their diet from seeds to pellets(if you feed them a seed diet ) and only offer them treats/seeds from your hand- it works pretty well, however if you didn’t tame since they were babies it’s very possible that they won’t be as cuddly and obssesed with you

Another common mistake is not giving your budgies their natural food diet which includes CANARY SEEDS (what they eat in the wild) and widely available online and in some healthy budgie specific bird mixes Also IMO Unless you are in a rescue scenario, I recommend to help stop continuing the dreadful pet store breeding for money operation that just makes thousands of budgies stuck in the store all year long :((( and hopefully the new owner isn't a dunce!

@@SamiUllah-gx2fs Being up higher is a natural protection response for all parrots. It's all about comfort. But never try to force it. Try laying down on floor to play or train. Then sit. Go from there. Small steps over weeks or months.

I need to know if my budgies are sick (if you have any answers,guesses, or statements feel free to comment) I have two female budges, cobalt blue and albino. However there is a problem, The cobalt is often closing one of her eyes. But not the other, yet shes showing no signs of sickness, as shes eating,drinking, and playing perfectly fine.however the two often have fight outbreaks yet i cant separate them or they’ll be screaming at me all day, Their droppings aren’t watery or have a change to them. But i am still concerned for my feathered friend, Theres no irritation around the eye that I know of so far.
