Who knew Carl was a Froot Loop guy? 😂 And yes, you are a lifesaver, Jami. That's a brilliant idea!

That’s a great idea!!! Moms think of everything. Here is just something I thought about. If you are going to do this each day screw a little piece of plywood to the top of the fence board to rest Carl’s platter on. You will need to cut a hole in the board so the handle will fit down through and big enough around that you can just reach up and spin the platter when you want. Your poor arm has got to be tired. That can be Carl’s personal feeding station.

That WAS a great idea! Now maybe you'll have to create a way to attach a platter to the fence. It's very possible that you could "belong" to Carl's group and he's protecting you. My boy cat is that way with my husband. He can be up stairs sleeping but as soon as my husband starts talking to me, he runs down and either sits on my lap or sits in between us. They are really not big fans of each other. Ha!
@traceyboyer88393 жыл бұрын
My male cat does that when my female cat tries to sit or lay next to me. He'll squeeze himself between us even if there's only an inch of space. Luckily she doesn't do it very often so he has me all to himself. I'm taking her to the vet today so I'll probably get the cold shoulder from him when we get home. Cats!

I had a dominant male dog, who was very good with people, in general... unless you were dating me. He hated my boyfriends, if they touched me. Now, he loved going out to the park with them. Loved going to their parents home... could spend all day playing with them, until they sat next to me, put their arms around me.... then he would totally change his attitude. He even growled at them.

Good Morning Jami 🙏 I think this way of feeding Carl, is a brilliant idea. 💡 HUGE win guy's 🏆👏🙌 And I was the same way as you in regards to choking. I cut up my children's food in to bite size pieces probably a lot longer than I should have or needed to. It was a huge fear for me. I liked seeing Janky Jan and Cornholio outside of the fence as well. Janky is just relentless at bothering Carl, while at the same time I worry it stresses Cornholio out. Corny is my dude!! I love that little guy. He and Nate are my favorites. I sometimes wish when you all are updating us or opening gifts and goodies, that you can somehow be near Nate.... so I can see him more. Sorry for seeming selfish. He just is so darn cute and small.

JAMI/LESTER: Ostriches have a neck pouch (sorta like many birds have a crop) to hold food in their neck. They have a glandular stomach which is called the proventricculus. When there is a big enough mass of food in the proventricculus, it will then slide down their long throat into the part of the stomach called a ventriculus. So you don't need to worry about him choking on the food in his neck. 😊 💜 from Alberta 🇨🇦
