On my chaos campain I had few military alliance offers every turn. Almost everyone loved me for crushing skavens and all of norsca. Well dwarfs had some grudges for that northern bois on me, slowly ruining the love of empire and also had some war with few humans since start, but not many battles (very hard both) later on I was like stop annoying me with diplomacy and sent my reliability to red. It was annoying.

Great video :), I liked that at around 43:00 or somewhere around that time you got the gates which means the gates was open and archaon and that random doomed bretonian general were having a super intense stare down for whole minute(good, bad and ugly theme in background) before he charged him to the ground, and then the bretonian guy just charges your chosen and archaon proceed to either taunt or troll him by riding in a circle around him( playing in slow motion see it better) and I imagined the "spin me right round" song at this time hehe >:), maybe someone think of a meme for what they're thinking. Also the amusing dance of the manticore and pegasus earlier. And intense video, keep up the great content^^

12:30 Why dont you use Ctrl+1 for the fire sorcerer and Ctrl+2 for the exalted so you can switch between the 2 quickly by hitting 1-2 on your keyboard, Its what lets me easily switch between heroes I want to use at the time. Double tap the bind to bring the camera quickly over to the unit you want to use. You can also unbind them from the Ctrl group when your done using them but I dont remember that command off the top of my head.

My understanding is that in a battle trees can block projectiles. If there is tree territory in the battle minimap, but the trees aren't there on the battlefield, do they block projectiles, or can you only hide in them?

1.3m gold, he could at least get 2 more full stacks with basic lords and make each of his OL march with a support army. With chaos, it’s absolutely necessary to at least make Stacks work by pair (at minima, even in fact make each pairs not so far of each other’s and be able to support them one an other if necessary). Like a rolling thunder. 1pair frontside, 1 pair backside, and an other pair of dmged 2 stacks (who fought last battle and recover) in the middle. And each pairs relieve each other’s when necessary, etc... Like that, u can go wherever u want (if u anticipate soon enough enemies offensives and spot them efficiently and regularly ofc, intel is a must have with chaos). But the concept of “rolling thunder” I call that is the best way to go. The strength of chaos remains in ability to maintain 4,5 or 6 full stacks and make them work with synergy in relative reduced areas... And with 1.3m stockpiled he can easily have 2 more full stacks in this campaign (with shaggots, chaos knights are also much useful for infantry stacks, giving one stack of shaggots per pair, and the other with chosen/hell canons/chaos knights, etc). But only infantry + lord & heros can be very weak if caught alone and threatened by artillery. Nevertheless, soon as u respect these rules and anticipate enemy movements most as possible, it’s possible to crush everyone with chaos, even in legendary! Yet it remains tricky ofc, the hardest campaign of WH2, with green skins equally hardest maybe... Perso, I love playing chaos, always something happening ! 😂 GG legend btw, nice saving, it was a tricky one 👍

So there is this one trick with melee heavy armies that chaos warriors unfortunatly can't do easily. Vigour management. Stuff like engage with chaff to exhaust, rotate front lines, and use narrow lines to survive longer to extend fight length. This would be an ideal trick for chaos but campaign mechanics and 20 unit limit armies make it unfeasible to have a dedicated chaff line to soak with. Vampire counts could do it with zombie stacks though. Anyway, I enjoy melee and mixed armies enough that legend has convinced me to avoid very hard battles. The penalties sound like a slog to deal with. The adaptation for the challenge sounds unfun for me, but its still interesting to watch legend overcome it.

Is possible to win as chaos in campaing? i tried 2 times years ago ( one in TW WH 1 and one in TW wh 2), but other factions rebuild cities so fast that i lost sense of progression in campaing and quitted

Best way I think, is to use your awakaned tribes/vassals to keep on top of regions that you sack/raze, that way you can see what is going on in those areas. Hope that kinda helps ya bud... Paz.

It'd also be the matter of losing the horde they've built up. You don't have to worry about permanently losing LLs because they're immortal, it's just that it takes ages to build up a decent horde.
