Social media will be flooded with people asking if anyone else has got their rebate back yet. Happens every time S&W offers a cash rebate. If you can't afford to make a purchase without getting a rebate you probably shouldn't have made the purchase in the first place.

Read the fine print. If you purchase it online before April 30 and it requires shipping to a FFL, you must receive it from your FFL by April 30 to qualify for the rebate. Doesn't matter that you purchased it before the rebate deadline.

@@oo7-ro6bu My comment is about online purchases (which the rebate works for) but you would need to get the firearm before the rebate deadline, which many don’t realize with online retailers still pumping this rebate offer (even today) despite it ending in 2 days and there’s no way to get it to a FFL and pick it up within that time frame. What happens, effectively, is that the buyer is stuck with their purchase and doesn’t get the rebate.

They are not responsible for the price-gauging. Guns are steeply overtaxed, and even a lower tax would be a crime because guns are supposed to be protected by the constitution together with the rights guns protect. But I know 99.7% of the people are angry at the constitution because enforcing it wouldn't let them have their way.

I wish more S&W models could be had without that ugly internal lock. Until it gets removed from the revolver lineup, my new revolver money is going to continue to go to Ruger and Colt. (Which is a shame, because I really do love S&W revolvers.)

What is going on with the CSX? You [Smith & Wesson] have been awfully silent on this model since the initial debut. My wife thinks it could be the perfect pistol for her. However, they are nowhere to be found. Furthermore, we have heard nothing in regards to the addressment of the trigger situation. Will there be a CSX 2.0 version coming in the near future? Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Even if it is just a trickle of information. Occasionally, some news is better than no news. Please and thank you. Stay classy my friends.

If you stop putting those terrible looking hillary holes in your revolvers, maybe I would return to your brand. For now, I'll stick to my Ruger and Colt revolvers. I want revolvers that look good in my collection.

I ended up buying a colt python instead of a 686 for that reason alone. Just can’t stand that stupid gimmick in an otherwise gorgeous firearm.
