Happy 4/13, everyone! It's been a while since I've arranged and released a song at this scale, but it feels great to be back at it.
Dedicated to the late George Buzinkai, an absolutely brilliant composer, I am proud to present you all with my own adaptation of "Savior of the Waking World," one of the most influential tracks in the Homestuck soundtrack. This percussionless rendition, arranged by me, captures a much different feel from the original song, though I would never think to consider it better. I hope you all enjoy, and keep on the look-out for more music from me! I'm certainly not finished.

@@evanbarron as long as you're happy! I play the piano so I'm not familiar with playing this kind of arrangement (the kind with many different instruments), let alone the sound engineering. So coming across such a good cover/recording of one of my favorite homestuck pieces (also one I'd never be able to play on my instrument) is quite a trill. Also your channel isn't gigantic (both video and subscriber-wise), which only adds to my amazement in finding such a well-polished result. I don't know if you feel the same way about this video as I do (probably not), so I felt the need to tell you how I see it. Maybe it inspires you to keep posting, maybe it doesn't. No pressure (though I must tell you I'm subscribed already xD). I just wanted you to know I really liked this! Wish you all the best, pal. I'm definitely still going to be making and posting music, it's just a slow process because I am a perfectionist and music that isn't of similar or greater quality to this video doesn't make it past the "learning" stage. I've got a lot of simple piano arrangements on my Instagram, @evan64barron_ but ever since I started doing larger pieces like this, I stopped recording and uploading simple piano solos. I might record and upload some more though because I learn a lot of songs and would like to get them out there somehow! Nonetheless, even though months pass between songs, the inspiration to create still stands, and I won't stop uploading ever. (Although I really should work on being more consistent)
