Oh! Thank you so much for demonstrating how to use this flower foot. I am so happy. You mentioned not to use the feed plate cover but to adjust the stitch length to zero. The instructions on paper seem never to catch all the finer points of adjustments that an experienced user of the foot can remember. The details that really make the product work are found with practice. I'm 64 with a room full of fabric. I think I'd better subscribe! I have a lot to learn and many threads, fibers, feet, and notions to use. Thanks again.

I've had this foot for over two years, but was able to use it only to make single flowers as I was not moving the cloth and the foot together and have been absolutely frustrated trying to centre it. Hi Savi. I need your help to decide between singer 3505 and brother gs 2700. I have seen the singer 3505 demo and stitch quality is wonderful. I haven't seen brother machines as they ate not in local markets right now. Expected in a months time. I like that singer 3505 has blanket stitch that I may use for applique. Brother doesn't have it. Brother has top loading bobbin (which may be helpful)vs singer having front load bobbin. Brother speed is 860spm while singer is 750 spm. I am a beginner . Please suggest which one of the two should I buy. If you had to choose between front loading vs top loading bobbin, which one will you choose? Thanks!

Hi, this foot is compatible with only low shank home sewing machines. If you are in doubt about your machine being low or high shank, you may put the presser feet down and measure from the bottom of the presser foot to the screw. If it measures around 1 1/4" it is high shank and if it is 3/4" it is low shank.
