That was good of you guys to invest in those machines to help make that easier on him. I watched a video in the past, where he showed how to do that on a way less automated machine than that. You take care and thanks for the video. Your father and I both learned today.

You should put up a drawing of tooth geometry so that you can show the pitch, set, angle of the grind etc. That will make it more clear what each step of the setup is addressing.

Store idea for you, sell cedar scraps. For the smell alone. Tiny cubes 1x1x1" and rounds i found in a store where 40 bucks. Adviced used in drawers near cloths racks and entrances near shoes. - if u didnt know, it is insect repellent.

It might be fun to separate your hardwood sawdust from your softwood sawdust and use the hardwood sawdust to make syngas. It would be fun to run some of your gas engines on it. It would be super cool if one could get someone to make a big bag to collect the syngas in like they had during WW2. That way one would not have to use it the instant it was made.
@Josephsmith-g9b5 сағат бұрын
Now Cliff they run diesel machines, how much time do they have to make gas?? Your comments are truly beyond the pail!!!
@scottsoper58 минут бұрын
@@Josephsmith-g9b 🤣 not every machine they have uses diesel. Making syngas isn't any harder than making charcoal except that you have to have the correct system to make it in. Right now they just vent the gas off when making charcoal.
@scottsoper13 сағат бұрын
Have you found a way to reduce/get rid of the softwood slabs in the log yard? I would cut them down to stove length and make a big pile of them at home as emergency fuel. You are likely using hardwood at home, but this would be an emergency pile.
