@@michaelmacias8 nah it's a wannabe Anaconda pretending to be jaws meets twister. It's trying to be intentionally bad for "comedy". Exec1: market research shows that movies that are "so bad they're good" are a major draw in the summertime. Why don't *try* to make a bad movie , but play it for laughs! Exec2: how about we throw in some blockbuster thriller bs too. Jaws maybe? That was a huge hit. Exec3: my daughter saw thriller, she loved it. She likes that guy, bill Paxton. Let's add that in too. Exec4: how about some overt, brain dead, pop cultural references to make all the retards in the audience clap out of misplaced pride for understanding said references? Exec1: great! We don't have to spend any money on special effects either, because it's _supposed_ to be bad! *Clink glasses, shake hands, pocket another 100 million.

Great scene because it shows you how the artists, the writers should create the story since they're the ones that have that natural talent. The mobsters to me represent suits at networks with no artistic talents dictating to the writers what to write. HBO was one of the first networks that allowed the writers/directors to create without interference & it lead to some of the most original, genius, classic television shows in history.

What's funniest of all about this is that this is art imitating life. When Tobe Hooper ran into great difficulty finding a distributor for the original "The Texas Chain Saw Massacre," due to just how violent it was, he wound up giving distribution rights to Louis Peraino of Bryanston Distributing Company. Perano was the son of Colombo family member Anthony Peraino.

Still waiting for South Beach Strumpets 5. Carmine probably was going to name it South Beach Skanks, then heard someone say strumpet on TV and changed it because he thought it would sound classy. "I'm very hands on. I learned that the hard way." I wonder if Carmine had to start banging the talent in the Strumpet series to make sure it fit his creative vision.

@@molasorrosalom4846 totally agree. In the original Halloween Michael doesn't really display anything supernatural. Perhaps stabbing the guy with the kitchen knife so he was essentially pinned to the wall. But there was anything like him coming back from the dead, or surviving things he should not have. I doubt Sil cared about the Halloween franchise enough to follow the sequels, especially since they are trash. Even the first Friday the 13th doesn't involve any super natural aspect. It's just Mrs. Voorhees getting revenge. In both cases it was the sequels that introduced super natural elements

Funny how the story of "Cleaver" seems to fit in perfectly with Christopher's own story. A guy who is unhappy with the boss, ends up getting killed by the boss and comes back to get revenge on the boss? Chris always resented Tony for favoring Tony B, fucking Adriana, at least that's what he believed, siding with Paulie on the whole beef over who pays the dinner tabs, and not to mention Chris actually has the boss in the movie "Cleaver" bang his girlfriend. Chris was describing his real feelings.
