Very nice! I'm trying to convince my dad to plant 10 acres of black walnut trees on the farm. So we can harvest the lumber. I tell you the 10 acres of fild corn doesn't even pay the taxes😒plus I love woodworking.

Beautiful wood. Cherry was always my Dad's favorite wood to work with.

Boy what I wouldn't give for one of those mills. 35 acres of hardwood on the homestead here.

Tony seems to always come up with some nice logs. That cherry is beautiful. Do you miss the saw mill yet lol.

There's just something about watching a mill in action. I could watch it all day! I haven't seen you use yours much. Whare do you stand on the Alaskan? Would you recommend it? I have many many oaks here. Uprooted every time we get a good wind storm. I don't like to just burn them. I feel it would be beneficial to cut them up and have usable lumber

So after uou cut it how do you keep it from splitting on the ends and warping? I know you put stringers in between to help dry them out but never had much luck with the splitting from each end!

I think they tell you to leave an extra 6 inches so you can cut 3 off each end when it splits I’m still learning
