Sawing a Huge Monster Pine Log!

I knew a man who ran a sawmill, actually built the house I live in with his own cutting of the lumber, and he said the best power was Steam Engine, because it never lughed down. Looks like your machine could give Steam a run for the $! Great video, gentlemen.👍

Grade a loading pad for the manure spreader to catch the sawdust and spread as bedding or for wet areas. Its great to see the farm treat timber like a crop vs logging it.

Logging is harvesting timber as a crop. I have had selective cuts done a few times, but I took bids for the timber. Not a lot of woodland, but not bad $ every few years.

Those bandsaw blades are like a rattlesnake, they'll jump up and bite you! I was a meat cutter for 41 years and handled a lot of those blades!

I'm not familiar with sawing, but I see nearly all other saw mills and they start on the big end first. The blade wants to skip when starting into the small end after the big end! Just an idea, ignore it if you want! I like your channel and the working together of dad & sons!
