Hey Jim and Brenda, you wern't kidding when you stated "Big Pine" , what a wonderful live action video .Harvesting the huge couple of pine trees after a spring storm. You really provided us with a great display of Bill and Baron turning around in the narrow space .and then yarding out the huge pine logs. Then the interesting manipulation of the huge pine log on the sawmill to create the extra wide pine table tops, Wonderful videography Brenda in the woods and in the mill . I really admired the closeup of Bill and Baron's faces.

You have shown viewers that there is more to cutting down a log than just putting a saw to it. Looking for the best place to fall a tree and identifying possible obstacles is a big part of logging. Someone can't just go out to the woods and lop down a tree willy-nilly. Lots of stuff to consider. It's an art as well as a profession.

It's a beautiful thing when the horses are syncronizing their steps❤. I notice them doing that a lot! This must have been filmed when the latest Nor'Easter hit the New England states about a week ago. Some areas got over 2 feet of snow. Looks like you all got at least a foot. I'll say one thing, that's one of the prettiest snows I've seen all winter the way it stuck to all the tree branches! Winter wonderland!❤ Skip sure loves scampering around in the snow!!!!

I have just been watching a little log arch that may improve your ability to lift the rear of your logs onto two wheels like your cart & sufficient, & light to attach it to your cart for the return trip to pick up a second loge the was a 700-foot log Big one could pick up tow smaller logs one pull the log forward over the rear of the logs chains & picks The log on to the wheels rising up the log on to the rear wheels & to resting position living you ready to travel to unload one unhooks by removing the reversing chain & backs back to reverse & lower the log when you unhook back up to the hitch, & drag it back with you for the next log or logs behind your cart it will be good for logs to big to drag. An Interesting bit of kit in your game very useful bit of kit. made in steal boiler tube 2" It's the sliding riser that. is the heart of it. you could have one made to the instructions here will help you in the making of one & your knowledge of size & length is limitless to a point I suppose Considering the woodland. White blanket covers the dark earth, the puppy ploughs chest deep through the drift cutting a groove as he speeds past, horses with the driver disturb the pristine powder, chains clinking and leather creaking. The chainsaw bursts into life and screams at the trunk of the tree, it falls showering the vicinity with the cold particles as it crashes to earth. Cinnamon coloured dust sprays over the snow, thrown by the chain as it claws into a trunk. Horses breath, the crunching snow, as the young colt paws impatiently, eager to drag the felled logs at the command of the master. Thanks for the video.
