It is sad to think that when all these old growth trees are felled we will not see their likes again. I remember seeing a stump of Mountain Ash (eucalyptus regnans) that was around the size of this one. It was dragged out of a forestry area in Victoria, Australia. They are recorded as the world's tallest flowering plant and closely rivaling for height the magnificent sequoias of North America. It is good to see these workers getting the best value out this rare and getting rarer stump.

Hundred years of living and fall apart in human greediness , hurt the feeling while the old man with blue shirt put his chain saw on it for wastes

Why greed? What does it mean, you can't cut down trees, kill animals to eat them, and what else? We are supposed to eat cockroaches, but they also want to live. It's good that in Indonesia or Malaysia people think normally.

It doesn't matter if it's a giant redwood! This tree is not cut down for harvesting. It's dead. The saw marks are from dividing it for transport. Everything in nature has a limited lifespan, even coniferous trees die and fall. Based on the appearance of the bark and the amount of mud on this tree, this tree was submerged in water for some time before being harvested. Trees that have been submerged in swamps for long periods of time are prized for their wood - people literally hunt them down in the hope of making huge sums of money.
