It is sad to think that when all these old growth trees are felled we will not see their likes again. I remember seeing a stump of Mountain Ash (eucalyptus regnans) that was around the size of this one. It was dragged out of a forestry area in Victoria, Australia. They are recorded as the world's tallest flowering plant and closely rivaling for height the magnificent sequoias of North America. It is good to see these workers getting the best value out this rare and getting rarer stump.

do you think the crane is just a parameter! more important is the motor box on top of the crane! the cable has enough load then it is not a big problem

Who was the brains-trust who decided that adding plinkerty-plonk music to compete with the chainsaw would be a cool idea? It isn't.

I will not put any more music in, sir.

It's heavy but nowhere near 60tons judging by that 10ton Crane.
@luatmac2 ай бұрын
sir. that is not the technical specification of the motor on the crane. if using a cable with enough load, it can lift about 100 tons. because we have 2 crane motors! the main motor is 50 tons, the auxiliary motor is 30 tons

@@luatmac I trust you are correct about the crane. However, the block is stamped 10ton. The safe load is the lowest rated for component. I won't go into ultimate load ratings that are generally 4x rating for overhead lifting. The safe load for this system is 10tons. Source: I load test cranes for a living.
