Hey, nonsense pays the bills and keeps food on the table. As usual, at least for me is is good to see you all together doing what you love to do and to hear the soothing sounds of the house band. By the way, don't let the trolls and haters get you down. they ain't nothing but hot air that has a bad smell. So says me.👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

I love how you guys make some awesome lumber from even the smallest logs! Most relaxing channel on KZbin to watch. For those of us like me who are uneducated in sawmill operations, can you explain why the Pith wood is something that you try to avoid? Is it unstable or does it twist in the finished product? Why do you want to leave the pith in the 'dog board'. I've seen a couple of videos where you say that you're just going to saw right through the pith and keep going. It's fascinating for a "newb" to listen to the terms and learn.

Play I still think that you guys need to get and the magic log stretcher and you need to get a pneumatic log straightener I mean you can probably get one all-in-one you know not to get a lot of that whoop-dee-doo out of those logs save you a lot of trouble I know that they're really really hard to come by almost completely non-existent have fun I enjoy the video 🤠😎🤠
@davidcooney97312 ай бұрын
Hi Mark. Thanks for the video. I know that you don't have power from the grid, but have you considered Solar Panels on the roof of the mill? I assume that you have a lot of vacant real estate up there, and depending on the orientation of the roof slopes, you could install a serious system. A 3-Phase inverter would be best for powering large shop equipment. You could slowly migrate to electric equipment, and start saving on fuel costs. Please let me know your thoughts on this...
