Those growth rings were tightly spaced. Can't wait to see the log turner in action. Thanks for sharing.

I definitely could see the growth rings, John. The only other similar sharpener I've seen is the automatic one that Nathan has. Bill

Hi John. Well. Great. You'll get your " limousine sawmill" going. The more you "mouse around." The more you'll get the "limousine sawmill running. Great sharp chainsaw. All types of oak are very hard. ( During the early 1980s. We had very hard elm trees in Vermont's woods. We used steel firewood splitters. They would bounce out of the elm firewood logs! 😡😠😤🤔🙄😬🤨😐😑 They're tough to split! We waited for below zero winter weather. They split easier in that weather. Me & my brother of that time. We got 15 cords. Before the winter of 1984 & 1985.) Nice electric chainsaw sharpener. Yes. You want to grind less metal on your teeth. ( No mentioning chainsaw sharpening companies. Some sharpened 1/4 of each chainsaw teeth! 😡😠😤🤔🙄😬🤨😐😑) I need to do my own sharpening. To sharpen less metal each teeth. Thanks John. Good luck on your " limousine sawmill." 🥰😊😉👍🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 Until next video. 🥰😊😉👍❤️💜🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🪵🌳

Looks like you have a good chain sharpener-what brand? I have always liked stihl chain. Would like to see you use a little longer bar buckin that oak. You being a good millwright, I knew you would have chain sharpening diald in. Glad I didn't miss this video, thanks for the watch. I can be a cheerleader once in a while

hi there i pull out a longer bar as needed , it was a Stihl sharpner , thanks for dropping in john
@clarencetrice4442Ай бұрын
HI JOHN 😊😊 IVE seen other people use the electric sharper I don't anybody around that does most use a chainsaw file and they sharpen the chain by hand U plug te other in the ground and turn it on it doesn't work like that U have 2 have a generator W U when U are in the woods 😮😮 john all of theold people sharpen by hand they either cut wood all of the time or either worked at the sawmill back then 😊😊 OMG 7 2O 2O24
