THANKS FOR POINTING OUT THE BENEFITS of the "Blade Guard"s SAFETY LOOP,." I had taken the Metal Portion of Loop off years ago, because I thought it got in the way, a stupid move. Because of your Video, I immediately went out in the shop and reinstalled the loop, smart move! I'll plan on giving it another try! I do however used the Guard probably 90% of the time.

Nicely done review. You talked about some features that other videos haven't touched on, like the magnetized rip fence handle.

Thanks for the thorough review. Your shop appears to be in a basement (low ceiling). If so, how did you manage to safely get the saw downstairs? I'm considering purchasing the same saw, but since its 400lbs+ I'm a bit unsure on how to get it downstairs. Thx.

I built a ramp over the stairs out of 2x4s and slid it down with a winch.

Is this in a basement? Assuming it is, how big of a bear was it to get it down there?

With regards to your Dado Blade comments. It appears to me that the Freud Dado Set you are using isn't recommended by SS! I know this because I have the same Dado Set and just started to use (after 5 years) it and after reading the SS Manual, I realized I had to get another Dado Set. My research lead me to purchase the Ridge Carbide Dado Set, $275.00, including Magnetic Spacers, which are highly recommended also.

Great in depth video. You might want to clean your shop though. 😁
