It seems that my SS Contractor Saw's Blade doesn't lower enough! When you lower the Blade, it is just below the Slot in the Blade Insert. If you rub your figure over the Slot you can feel the Blade's teeth. Is there an Adjust Screw that allows the Blade to be lowered another 1/16 of an Inch.

I had the same thing happen on my SS contractor saw. Turned out to be an accumulation of sawdust in the small pocket below the guide and elevation rod. Clean that out and the saw will drop out of the way fully.

cleaning my saw, tilt will not go past 38 degrees. gears and rod are clean as I can tell.
