I noticed diablo advertised their carbide-tooth pruning blades as having the ability to run through dirt without deleterious effects. It does wonders for cutting roots to take out stumps! Thanks as always for the thoughtful, detailed videos, Catus!

I do little trimming jobs on the side, my current Diablo pruning blade has 950$ worth of work on it and it’s still as sharp as the day I got it! I started counting after my last one lasted forever lol

Switching out the demo carbide blade when you’ll hit a row of nails with a metal cut blade stretches the life a bit but most don’t have time for that so you chip some teeth out occasionally, I just have ocd about it

Hi Catus Maximus, what kind of blade would you recommend to cut thin flexible, fresh branches (0,5-0,9cm) *cleanly* ?

Im a plumber and use saw zall blades almost every day, I disagree Lennox is superior to Milwaukee, as well as diablo.. Lennox ct laser thick metal blade is 10000x better than anything else for cast iron, and I only get Milwaukee blades if there is no other option. Check plumbing supply stores they always have the 4 inch blades so you don't have to order them

Ok really. I came for info on blades.

I don't think Milwaukee is better than Lenox, watch the tests.
