I'm 23 and I live in the states, been listening to these guys as long as I can remember thanks to my dad. I've seen them 3 or 4 times and I totally agree with ya. They've been doing it almost twice as long as I've been alive and still kick ass. Long live SAXON!!!

Remember when i saw Saxon Kuusrock outdoor festival, in Oulu, Finland 1981. Their professional touch made a big impresson for a young, 17 years old kid. Well, Saxon still going strongly. In exempel album "Call of arms" was great.

logie1959, Not a true story, Lyrically, the song tells a story about a power cut that forced planes in New York City to remain in ascent in 1965 with the power outage, forcing a Scandinavian flight to detour to Kennedy airport in the dark. The flight mentioned, "Scandinavian 101", was actually Scandinavian Airlines flight 911 and was likely flown on a Douglas DC-8, as the 747 was still under development at the time and only entered commercial airline service in 1969, four years after the outage. The incident caused a major overhaul in safety and propped the future of reserve fuel tanks, as Scandinavian 911 almost used up all its fuel.

Once I read that this awesome song makes a little mistake: 747 production began in 1969, while NY's great blackout was in 1964 or 1965. In anyway, I can listen this tens of times without getting tired of it.
