I've seen the mighty Saxon 27 times since they opened for Maiden on the Piece of mind tour in 82. Since that show, I've been hooked! I've even seen them during the lean, grunge years at bluebonnet dance hall that's now a church! Every single show has been absolutely awesome! I hope to see'm another 27 times! I love all metal bands but Saxon is my all time favorite

I was at that show at Bluebonnet Palace -- March 1998 - Unleash the Beast tour - Pat Travers opened. They are one of the best heavy metal bands of all time and don't get much credit for it, sadly.

Saxon plays to sold out soccer stadiums in other countries, but in Texas, they play to small crowds but yet, they still make the trip to Rock S.A.

Nibbs Carter and Doug Scarrett are better than Oliver and Dawson in my opinion.
