Hi Selina! A quick tip for you because we have similar hair...I recently started to first gently squeeze the product into my hair instead of just smoothing it down the section of hair. Gently squeeze, squeeze, squeeze😊 it has made a big difference in moisture and, as a result, length retention. Think it helps the product to really penetrate to the cortex. Oh my goodness such a small thing but big result!

Yes with this cold air my hair gets dry very easy. I just recently shampooed with Henna sooq shampoo henna bar then did a deep conditioner then packed my hair with Shae butter and my growth oil!

Washing my hair right now while watching your videos 😃😃. I am low porosity so after washing out the deep condition I apply the leave in conditioner (Cantu) in the bathroom and cover it with plastic cap before getting out

Right after applying the leave in conditioner I take a quick shower before moisturizing my hair that’s why I cover it with the plastic cap for more absorption and so that my hair stays wet. I do not blow dry because I have some bald spot so am staying away from heat

Great video, Selina! Regarding the tea spritz, I am using blow drying with the RevAir every other week to stretch my hair and chunky twists. So, instead of using a wet spritz daily, I incorporated the tea, along with a few other teas, infused into my DIY oil mixture, which is full of goodies you suggested and others. Should I try some other way of addressing my thinning edges while my hair is stretched?

When I do protein hair treatment at first my hair gets really thick but then it startes failing agian🤷‍♀️😭 I think it’s because Im not balancing between moisturising and protein.
