1. Sit or stand comfortably with your back straight and shoulders relaxed.
2. Hold a pencil horizontally between your teeth, gently biting down to keep it in place.
3. Without using your hands, focus on lifting the corners of your mouth upwards and outwards, as if you’re trying to smile around the pencil.
4. Hold this position for 5-10 seconds, feeling the muscles around your mouth working to lift the corners.
5. Relax and release the tension, then repeat the exercise for 5-10 repetitions.
