I have some tough and brave rats in my place. I woke up in the middle of the night and I thought my late calico cat had come back to life and was snuggled up against me. I opened my eyes and the rat looked at me like I was his father. I screamed and he ran. Didn't see him for a couple days but either him or one of his friends came back. I tried scary cat sounds and a high pitched sound you hear during a hearing test but much louder. They worked for a day and then stopped. I guess a rat can adapt to almost anything that's why there are so many of them on earth. I tried this one but heard nothing. But so far after 12 straight hours not a whimper 😅

I woke up after playing this all night on my phone in my kitchen. There was a rat in the doorway right near where the phone was plugged in and when I saw it I became startled. The rat was acting so stran.ge… it was rolling around and couldn’t seem to run away although it was visibly afraid and wanted to. Could this audio have caused that? I put a bin on the floor and the rat rolled inside it. I brought it outside and let it roll out in the field behind my apartment complex. It really creeped me out and I’m wondering what could have caused this strange behavior. There are also some of those rat repellent sacks/balls around the house that my wife had placed. Any feedback is appreciated.

you can not hear the sound ,but the mice can i have two adult mice on the kitchen floor ,one of them has just jumped into the bin ,thats one less in my kitchen he was relocated out in the back garden ,this does work .

@@TheJemstar28 I don't have any cats or dogs ,but I did use a plug in ultra sound yoke and it never harmed the cat or dog ,I rented out the house ,when I got it back it was trashed and infested with mice

Not by humans though, I’ve gotten most of it cleaned up, but jeezzz the critters are in the roof!! It’s F ing freaky! Scratch scratch scratch, chew chew chew…. Ugh! I am so revolted and borderline scared of these tiny creatures. It doesn’t make much sense, they’re tennny and and I’m a giant to them. I just want the noises to stop!!!

In the description, it is mentioned that one of the frequencies is 175000 (175kHz). Is that a typo? Most speakers (including studio monitors) only have a range as high as 40-45kHz. Also, what type of waveform is this (Sine, Square Wave etc.)?

works moderately well for mosquitoes.. however if you have LOTS it will only help somewhat. cut the number of mosquitoes eating me by id say about half. also.. very short range for mosquitoes.. personal bubble only

If the frequencies supposedly contained within this video are inaudible to humans, then those frequencies will also be outside of the frequency response of even the best drivers in the best studio monitors. So, if the speakers are physically incapable of playing those frequencies, how exactly are we going to play anything audible to a rat? That's not even questioning whether or not the sound will bother the rat. I'm saying if your speakers can not reproduce the sound, then it can't be effective on the rodents, because there's no sound for them to hear.

I had some of those before my home got destroyed by a fire; but, they didn't work. After that, 3 king snakes took up residence in my house, drawn by the rodents. After that, I rarely ever saw even rodent droppings, much less rodents or chewed stuff. I was thrilled a few months ago, when I saw a king snake that was about 4 feet long in this camper trailer I'm now having to live in; but, unfortunately, it was "just passing through" & didn't stick around. I HOPE my dogs didn't get a hold of it...

My brother bought an electric mouse trap and put nuts (since we didnt have peanut butter) in the back. (make sure to turn it off when putting in the food!) And placed it under the tv stand, in a few hours one was caught ! So dont leave your mouse traps without bait cause then theres no hope!!
