We used to have to stand there and Vacuum the pool with the big long poles and then the hose was connected to the filter hole on the outside edge of the pool and then that filter would have to be cleaned so yeah this is excellent to have 😊

We had a pool when we were growing up and my brothers used to do the chemicals themselves so I’m sure you can get the info and things you need to test it and then to apply the chemicals to the water. Nice to have that. “We’re definitely living in the Jetson age. 😂

I am a pool service technician in Los Angeles. Cleaning filters and balancing water chemistry is a lot more important than vacuuming those debris at the bottom. You guys need a pool man.

That is awesome. Does it auto turn off if it gets flipped over? Just wondering because of a pool with kids. Could a foot get stuck on the suction area? I think I would pull it out while everyone swam and just put it right back in when we got out. That was hilarious with Charlie watching it. Wonder what she was thinking about it? Giant bug? lol. Oh my goodness the kids have grown so much since we saw them last. Oh yes I have a naughty comment. lol. It might be according to what the pool boy looks like whether she wants to get rid of them. lol. I’m just teasing. That pool would be a dream for me. I’m a paraplegic and swimming is the best activity. Stay safe and God Bless

Don’t you guys have pool vacuums as a normal thing in the US? It’s super normal to have a vacuum thing (kreepy crawly) in South Africa. They come on when the pool pump comes on and depends on how long the pump stays on for. Ours attach with pipes to the catchment area that is built into the side of the pool- like what Amanda was mentioning at the end of the video. This would be cool though that it’s just cruising around without the pipes! When we were younger we were always scared of the kreepy crawly cause we thought it would suck us into the pump 😂

And hello. I have a quick question, when the robot arrives on the highest step, doesn't it spray water around the pool? I have a swimming pool with a very shallow bench. THANKS .

If your top stop is shallow enough it will shoot water out around the pool.

We run our vacuum every day. Take a water sample to the pool supply store once a week and the will tell you what your water needs

You can take a water sample to a pool store near you such as Leslies Pool Supply & they will tell how which chemicals and how much you need to put in your pool. It's a lot more accurate than doing the drops. We have our pool water tested every week in the summer through Leslies & it's not hard to clean your pool filters & pool when debris gets blown in it.

I would suggest hiring a pool service. You will save time not having to go to leslies once a week, and you wouldn't have to worry about anything, just get to enjoy your pool😁
