WOW that is so wonderful you had an opportunity to review the next release! I really liked your take on it, and how it is useful for you. I think my favourite part is that the price has gotten down a lot, and is comparable to the current price tag on the OR Cam. Too bad the Canadian dollar is worth crap right now, but it won't always be that way. :) Thanks again for your review!!!!

Hi Jerry I think you did a great job in your Review and I find you Inspiring. I'm Legely Blind. I've only just seen the E sight this morning. I have seen videos of the orcam so that maybe worth having a look at as well. I feel a bit self conscious as well. the E sight looks good but it looks bulky but thats not always a bad thing because its harder to lose. maybe in a few years they will make the glasses as small as ordinary glasses so they don't draw to much attention plus they could build the controls into the device. one thing that helps me is pin hole glasses. their just black glasses with tiny holes in. but over all the E sight looks pretty good. well done in your presentation.
@BjornsonVideos3 жыл бұрын
Thank you for the amazing feedback. Yes, they are a little bulky. I actually do not wear them in public. They were about $6000. So it’s really hard for me to wear them outside without worrying about breaking them or maybe it starts raining/snowing. Glad you enjoyed the presentation. This was an honour to review.

I am really happy to see new release but I would like to know what is the price? And also are you able to see little bit before or with out this? Like my daughter become blind and her vision totally lost. She only can see ground ( blearily and may be our toes) and nothing. She only fallow voice and little shadows. Only black and white. I wounded if any one of you had same experience or your same condition. And this innovation will work for my daughter? Please let me know. I am in UK so in Uk what will be the price and is it available in Uk?
@BjornsonVideos4 жыл бұрын
Thank you for the amazing comment, so sorry I could not get to you any faster. The glasses are about $10,000 I believe. But you can visit the official website to find your local currency. I think as I guess that would be about perhaps 7000 pounds. If your daughter has no real useable vision, I would not recommend this product. This product does not help me see completely. As I still can’t read with the glasses on. Although it does help me cook. It helps me watch TV. But there still some downsides. I will be making a new video soon about this product as well

I'm glad you were able to try the new model, and I enjoyed the summary video. I'm still using the eSight 3 though plan to move to the 4 eventually. Anyway, one of the other features of the eSight 4 is the unit doesn't include eyeglass-type lenses and frames and are designed (or at least claimed) to adjust so that you can wear your prescription eyeglasses and the eSight 4. However, I don't use eyeglasses and also have an eye condition, Aniridia, that has an attribute that makes my vision sensitive to light, and thus I will try to use sunglasses with the eSight 4 when outdoors. Ultimately, everyone's mileage varies as the adage goes, but (again) I'm glad you were offered and went ahead with the test run. Best to you moving forward.
@BjornsonVideos4 жыл бұрын
The unit struggles when I’m trying to use it to read books. I definitely don’t have enough vision to read through the little screen inside. I’m just happy to see people smile. As for the price point. We can both agree, it’s a little up there. I thought I wanted to purchase it, but the low vision community is getting me to try other devices. Just putting all those together.
@MacCheetah34 жыл бұрын
@@BjornsonVideos It's unfortunate eSight doesn't fully help you, although, I'm happy to read you're going to try a multitude of devices. There certainly are other interesting options. I hope one of them will be big enough help to you. As for cost/price... I do agree, however, the first couple of eSight hardware versions were $15,000, now they're $5,950, about 60% less with notable improvements. So, sure, not quite the superb and affordable though the low vision aid industry is indeed making commendable progress. Again, best of luck in your vision enhancement search.

Hey jr. I have heard about esight electronic glasses I think they would really help me see my environment a little bit better how are $5,000 is a lot. It would have been nice if you could try them out during one of your comedy sessions to see if you are able to see facial expressions in the audience I assume that when you're up there doing, that you can't see your audience very well another great test would have been the grocery store would you have been able to read the product signs above the aisles? This is one problem I face a lot when I go shopping I use a monocular for this. The esight glasses are phenomenal because it fits you zoom in I think if your vision would have been a little more usable you probably would have been able to read with them. I thought you had a ruby XL portable CCTV. Anyways rate review Thanks for Sharing I hope you're able to purchase them one day.
@BjornsonVideos Жыл бұрын
I have tried them at stand-up comedy. Unfortunately, the spotlight is too bright so the camera can’t focus directly as the light source is in front of me when I am on stage. As for using it in stores. The monitors make it a little hard for me to read because there’s light interference from the top of my head you know where average fluorescent lights hang out at the store. I usually use an app to tell me what aisle I am at. Seeing AI on iOS

I would recommend your son try a digital Magnifier, also known as a portable CCTV. If the monitor or screen is big enough, that usually works for me as well. This could work for him to. But you would have to set up a consultation to know more details. I wish you the best of luck.
