My cousin and his wife had their baby shower here, and it really was very cute inside. They did a great job in Wetumpka, and I'm happy to see it doing as well as it is. I wish I'd known Randy was in town, though!

When those sweet ladies saw the finished product, their reaction was so typically Southern. And being a girl of the South, it was just so heartwarming to hear and observe .❤❤

Every small town needs a space like this one! It’s just perfect and so pretty and welcoming!! I’ve seen so many places that needed this kind of updating. I really hope that this episode inspires so many communities 😊

@mistygeller3193 Yes. I feel like Ben and Erin provided an excellent template for how to update a thirty year old building like this one. Where to spend and where to save. It would still require a decent budget - even if locals could provide some of the trades. Exterior painting and signwriting, gardening and landscaping, updating the catering and kitchen facilities, interior painting, lighting, furnishings, and perhaps changing some windows to french doors. Then how to make best use of the outdoors. Like the arch shown made by Ben, maybe a bbq and outdoor furniture.

@ayuta123 That was alot of behind-the-scenes work from the 'Say Yes To The Dress' team. To ship a selection of 50+ dresses for Tara to have a custom bridal appointment. It also looked like they'd shipped in their own mirrors, sofas and decorative pieces to restyle the local store. So special 😊👏 with Randy Fenoli. It was very generous of this local 'I Do Bridal & Formal' business (at 2:27 mins) to allow Randy & co. to take over their premises for filming!

@@comealongcomealong4480 I looked up I Do Bridal & Formal and there are 2 stores. The one they had the filming at was in Montgomery, Alabama. The website for I Do is lovely and the mirror and sofas and accent pieces are from the bridal store. I looked at pictures on their website and saw that mirror and furniture. I agree that Randy was so kind to send all those dresses for the bride to choose from.

A combo of two of the most positive shows the USA offers, awesome! This is what makes you great, an open, caring community. Y'all need more of this spirit and less twisted hate & violence stirred up by folks that should want the best for EVERYONE...

In France, villages and small towns have a “ Salle de fête “ that locals can use for get togethers, parties, receptions, reunions, etc. It does really add to a sense of community ❤

I tried to sell my wedding dress to a consignment store when it was about 5-6 years old but I was told it was too out of date. So, I gave it to Goodwill. At least, they were grateful.

We all know in 2 weeks all of the indoor and outdoor furniture will go missing, as people help themselves to whatever they want.

Having a security bond that is only returned on condition the venue is left clean with all items such as indoor and outdoor furniture in good condition usually helps as an incentive to prevent venues being destroyed or things being stolen.

@@legoqueen2445 I was talking about the staff helping themselves to the stuff/furniture inside and then just random people hopping the fence and helping themselves to the outdoor stuff/furniture... happens all the time.
