Those are true words Shadetree, people have forgotten the compassion and understanding where people are in their walk of life. We have 2 eyes and 2 ears, and one mouth. We need to look and listen to other people and understand their fears and pains before we speak. Their is so much division, we need unity so that we can grow as people of compassion.

Shade tree surgeon I just love your channel bruh. My youngest son watches it with me, and he said “ wait he’s in Florida?” And I said yes. “And he has a road king?” I said yep, they let him borrow it. He then asks “can we visit him?” I said why do you want to visit him in Florida? (Me thinking beaches or fun in the sun) he explains “so I can tell him (in his best raspy voice) KEEP IT WEIRD!” Bwajajajajaja jajaja 😆 🤣😂

One sided empathy. Got it
@shadetreesurgeon4 жыл бұрын
When I ask people to feel empathy for their fellow man it’s for all of them. Instead of being offended by the one sidedness that’s you’re perceiving in my words, you just just try to feel empathy for everyone. There are no sides man, we’re all humans.

Shadetree Surgeon, the closing PSA was right on target. I'm a retired police officer and I can proudly say I never abused anyone in my life. Treat others as you want to be treated has been something I try to live by, it's the only way we're all going to get along.
@shadetreesurgeon4 жыл бұрын
I should have touched on this more because I think a lot of people misconstrued my statement as anti-police. I’m friends with a lot of cops and some of them have expressed to me how disgusted they are with some of their comrades behavior as well. Thank you for leaving this comment my friend.
@particleinthewave83784 жыл бұрын
shadetree surgeon So many people repeat the mantra...”a few bad apples” when referring to abusive cops which I find lacking. If the majority of the professional crime fighters are “good guys” how is it that they have silently allowed the “few bad apples” to put themselves and their profession at risk due to the horrific brutality of the “few”? Simply makes zero sense. I am not saying their aren’t some good police officers out there but they are definitely in the minority or at minimum are complicit in the criminal behavior of their brethren!
@hankbrown39594 жыл бұрын
@@particleinthewave8378 I have no idea about you or your back ground- but just as he asks for us to see the other side- imagine what the average cop has to deal with on a daily basis. I have been beaten by cops, or let go when I was doing 180 on the highway. it goes both ways. When you mess up at your job, the repercussions are probably pretty manageable, but when your job is people (in all states of emotions) the mistakes can be irreparable. Three major things have turned me away from cop hating- having kids that I cant protect 24 hrs a day, working as a bouncer in bars, and mainly owning 75 low end apartments and dealing with the daily struggle of that investment. We all have to step up, and over into each others shoes and get this sorted out.

I was taught that the definition of racism is Anyone who puts One race above the others or anyone who feels that they deserve something because of the color of their skin. I have traveled all over. ( I'm Scottish Irish and Sioux Indian ) I've seen more racism from blacks and Hispanics that I have any other group. At 8 years old Hispanics told me I didn't have the right to live in their neighborhood because it was reclaimed by Mexicans for Mexicans and that I was lucky they only beat me bloody and didn't beat me to death is what they told me to my face. I lived in Georgia I was yelled at by black men for saying hello while walking down the street so I wish everybody would just get over the color of their skin and treat everybody equally like I do. The only thing I care about is how you treat me if you're an a-hole I don't like you cuz you're in a hole not because of the color of your skin.

I have always had a foot in both camps being a biker and a car nut. I bought 3 brand new IROC-Z;s, a black '86, and then a red '87. Both cars were 5 speed T-Top cars with gray interiors.. A month after buying the ''87, Chevy comes out with the 1987 1/2 IROC-Z convertible. I had to have it so I went to Chevy and gave them a down payment on the 1st one that comes in. It was a stunning Red one with blood red leather interior, 5 speed TPI 305 and a black top. I loved that car and is my favorite car I have ever owned. I am 67 now but the passion has never gone away. I currently own a 2014 Street Glide Special, a 2016 Ninja 300, a 2011 Camaro 2LT RS 6 speed and my beloved 1967 Chevelle SS 396 convertible. I agree with you Shadetree about Florida, I live in SW Florida and love it here.

I wasn't a four cylinder guy either, until i bought my highly tuned 1998 Bandit 1200. It was bored, cammed, ported, polished, timing advanced, full exhaust system and optimized on a dyno. They have about 100 hp at the wheel standard, mine had 145, and let me tell you the power came in pretty much at idle. I shifted to second to power wheelie, because it was a bit too nervous in first, then i rode the wheelie up to the redline at about 85 mph. Man was that bike a blast, but i had to sell it when i got two speeding tickets in a month (three speeding tickets in a short period will get your license revoked for a couple of months in Sweden) because i was working as a truck driver at the time. I really miss that bike, but i'm a twin and triple guy at heart.
