Both very nice. Had a 3.2 Mk1 (Papaya 🧡), now got TTS Mk2 (Solar Orange 🧡). Prefer Mk2 as was always waiting for things to go wrong with Mk1. RS sounds great, maybe my next TT.

Would you say Mk1 TT’s are expensive to maintain. Reason I ask is, they were a concept car, not intended for production. As a result they were over engineered. So are they easy on the wallet?

Over the years I've owned the TT I'd say the maintenance is minimal, regular oil and filter changes have kept the engine performing with very few issues, main things that have let me down have been temperature sensors and a cam sensor, however all the replacement parts are readily available as they share the VW platform in many ways. Overall I'd recommend the TT to anyone looking to get one, it's a timeline vehicle with looks and performance to rival many later sports cars ..😎

MK2 is obviously a better car but the MK1 is the OG.
