I’ve been subscribed to you for about 7 years, I’ve always loved your content. This is really frustrating! The monetization is so ridiculous, back in the early 2000’s when KZbin first came out people were making videos using racial slurs and really offensive racist content so it’s really ironic they monetize people now for the tiniest things. Your channel has been nothing but a feel good experience for viewers and so very down to earth... with Larry, Molly, the cats and some occasional friends. I was thinking recently how does KZbin pay content creators because I would imagine that there are far more monetized channels than advertisers. I'm a professor of political history that moved into the direction of music history around 2017 and you were crucial for me in filling in a massive void and lack of knowledge I had on glam and other styles of 70s rock beyond art rock, progressive, commercial and punk. A lot of your videos also got me to go back and listen again to some of the cds i had in books that I hadn't entertained in years like the Doors. I really appreciate you and would be glad to help you design your travel itinerary to Europe for free anytime you feel like it, I used to write travel guides while I lived there from 2000-2012 doing political history and law studies. Thanks for all the great content I've enjoyed over the years. I'll definitely be moving over to the other channel and hope everyone will do the same. This is just horrible, Larry. Your channel was the first channel that I watched routinely, starting way back in 2007 or so. Anyway, I have been thinking about what on earth could possibly be the “not original content” complaint of KZbin, and the only thing I can think of is maybe it is related to the recent series of reaction videos you’ve made where you show various rankings from web sites on one half of the screen and your face on the other half? Maybe that is considered as “use of unoriginal content” or some such ridiculous thing. Otherwise I can’t even fathom what KZbin could be possibly complaining about. Very weird. And very ridiculous. I hate KZbin. Correction: what KZbin has become. I love channels, creators. People. But I hate KZbin. I mean “HATE” (they love it in caps). I don’t want to get into arguments, but I respectfully disagree commenters tell you that you should’ve followed KZbin’s “rules”, almost defending them. KZbin doesn’t follow their own rules. Not giving you visibility or clear details of what you have done wrong is like police arresting you without telling you why and not reading your rights. That is ILLEGAL. KZbin supports and promotes hate videos (and I’m not saying it figuratively), self destruction, clickbait, or plain lies. Just check the trending videos to see the amount of garbage that this platform allows. PD: i hope you can make a strong case in the next months or even get advice from a lawyer.

And then they can't even properly explain what happened. Just unbelievable. They're implying the issue is some copyright issue, or use of others material, yet nothing that had got the original video blocked or elicited a warning. Very frustrating. The only thing I can think of that you have done often recently that might trigger something is show a lot of music lists from published articles and react to them? It could be that its some stupid automated algo thing or its a malicious YT moderator that has done this for some reason.

After 14 years of watching KZbin (under two different names, the other being elc1960), the site has deteriorated badly. They allow people to spam comments sections with insulting and offensive remarks, but others get restrictions placed on them for no reason. Bullying is rampant and pervasive here now, where it was once grounds for people to have their accounts pulled. If they think they've improved anything here with their new algorithm, they're sadly mistaken. Thanks for all the high quality entertainment Larry. Since years i avoided being on YT, but since Easter i have a channel too , only for giving comments, likes etc. So i do not know too much about this policy, but it makes me angry.
