Look forward to seeing this video. I know the feeling well. More than anything we own, our vehicles tend to take on a certain personality; in such that we begin to think of them as living beings, our companions on this wild adventure we call life. The longer we own them, the deeper the bond. I had to say good bye to IronHide because of a 2 second mistake I made. Still haunts me to this day. I remember looking back at the wreck again and again, after signing over the paperwork. It felt like putting down the family pet. My dad still talks about the 83 Mazda 323 that he had many years ago and how all the cars he had since, they never quite captured that same magic. That Mazda would never win awards for best looking, etc., but it was a part of our family. We all have memories about that car. Each video you've made with your 100 series are the memories that you take with you. In a way, it's never gone. Its here.. still living on in our hearts and minds. Its soul is immortalized.

I heard a phrase when I was younger, that seems appropriate. Don’t be sad that it’s over, be glad that it happened. There are some slightly different words used, as evidenced by the comments below. But the sentiment is the same.

I feel the same way on nostalgia and being a hoarder. I have a difficult time thinking of getting rid of my old 94 hilux. It's been with me since high-school for 17 years. I've had some of my best memories and trips in it. Even though I know it's just a vehicle it feels so like an old friend. Keep pushing forward in your path. We all enjoy seeing your videos and look forward to what you do next.

SOME OF US ARE HEAVY THINKERS, AND WHEN DEVESTATING THINGS HAPPEN, WE KIND OF GO INTO A SHELL. I HAD THAT HAPPEN IN 2013. IVE RECOVERED, IT TOOK ABOUT A YEAR TO SORT OUT WHETHER TO CONTINUE OR NOT. I CHOSE TO CARRY ON WITH THAT WHICH I LOVE, AND AM GIFTED AT. I AM A FABRICATOR, BUILDING HOTRODS BY HAND, AND THAT YEAR OFF MADE ME MORE HUNGRY TO CONTINUE. IN 2014, I BOUGHT THE 4TH PROJECT BODY, STARTED, AND COMPLETED IT IN 2018. I DRIVE IT, AND ITS AMAZING. I COULD TELL YOU WERE SO HURT. AND YES WHILE WE WAITED FOR THIS VIDEO, IM SURE IM NOT THE ONLY ONE CONCERNED FOR YOU. GLAD TO SEE THE HEALING HAS BEGUN. I ABSOLUTELY DIG YOUR VIDS AND NARRATING. I HOPE YOU CONTINUE. WE SOMETIMES GROW THE MOST IN THE HARD TIMES.

A beautiful video, touchingly thought out, put together, and shared. I read the title when it flashed up on my phone and thought 'NO, don't shut your channel down'. So relieved. But if you had, those that care, would understand. Instead I just watched a tribute. To you. A woman who has gone through so many things, mentally, physically, breaking stigmas, pushing boundaries. A tribute to the past. I enjoyed listening as you explained your coping, then recovery and healing strategies. The various 'ingredients' you used to look at the past and heal so as to move forward. So much focus is put on moving forward, there is a pressure to bury the good experiences that were had, ones that can be taken with you. I'm so happy for you that you've reached a point in recovery where you feel strong enough to move, not paralyzed by fear or failure. Yes, it was you. Yes, you've learned so many things. I cannot believe that upper control arm bolt was missing! The twist on the diff, it would have been so much worse if it had had the full time 4wd conversion, where they put hubs in the front. The hole in floor, something sure hit that hard!! Overall, please do what you want. For you. Not for your audience. There are those that follow personalities with which they can relate. To the struggles, the stigmas, the struggles, or a wacky sense of humour. The content, where that happens, is a bonus. The pressure to produce content, that comes second in life, your mental and physical health first. Thank you for putting such a touching video together. One thing I appreciate is your candor. Humility. Ability to share and take us along with you, as though individually. Wishing you every happiness, and hey, take care. Looking forward to a geotag if you'd still like, and whatever you share next. The hilux is looking good. Can't wait till your next episode to see more. Hugs from Oz. 🤗🤗🤗

Wow !! What an interesting and beautiful young lady ,, challenging life and dreams .... Past vehicles were very nice and eventually evolved into a new vision .... I have been a fan of Toyota trucks since the early '70's here in min America ...We can't get factory diesel's ,,although there have been some aftermarket products around ,, but not legal for EPA ... I think learning a trades skill is admirable and rewarding ,, and it seems you have a natural talent for it .... I think more of the design engineers should be required to complete a tech course to understand what techs run into in fabrication ... The new Hilux looks awesome and look forward to see what you come up with .... Stay Safe and follow your dreams ....

Im only here because of family and the only thing that keeps sane is my job, I'm an interstate trucker and I still get to travel but not on my terms. I think its great the trade that you are doing it will help you big time in the future if you decide to travel again, it will give you better understanding of car maintenance and the confidence to be able to fix it. Everyone has there own way of dealing with issues time heal weather its short or long, its up to the individual, me its classical music (who would of thought) Good luck on your future I look forward on your future Vids and to her that bit of Ozzie in your voice Cheers mate

We all have guardian angels, some acknowledge them, some don't. Thanks for sharing yours, there's a reason for everything. I totally understand where you are coming from... After a serious vehicle accident 7 yrs ago now that has left me unable to work, and barely able to move, I had gone through the same questions as you did... I think you need to answer those questions though to help you on your path to recovery... Even through tragedy, there is always brighter times ahead. It comes down to your attitude. You can stay in the gloomy depressed state or you can do as you have done and got on with your life and learnt from it. Life is always a learning curve and whether we want to admit it or not, we never stop learning. You have a positive attitude, you are getting on with your life and in your own time things will look a lot better... Never let anyone rush you into recovery... Like everything in life, recovery is a self journey that only we ourselves can travel. You are an amazing girl, and can be thankful that you are still well and healthy... You are a young inspiration to me and many others

I don’t know if you read these comments, but I’ll just tell u my most important opinion about vehicle and using said vehicle as your main everyday ride/home/everything. I used to drive a used Tacoma 4door trd4x4, and I used it to do some traveling and outdoor stuff. But something on the used suspension failed and it cost an accident. After that, I made the best decision of my life and truly believe in this: if you’re going to use a vehicle for daily work traveling close distances, used is fine. But if your life depends on the vehicle and it’s used to travel great distances and in bad conditions etc etc, buying brand new is the way to go, or as close to new as possible/one can afford. There’s a big ease of mind knowing that your vehicle is new and everything is where it should be, and know at least it’ll be safe and reliable for 100k miles (if you don’t cause any damages yourself), before needing any real repairs. (Reliable if choosing a reliable vehicle, not a Land Rover defender lol).

I'm not real spiritual either, but I like to believe there is a higher power watching over us. I also believe things happen for a reason. Maybe you were ready for a new vehicle and just needed a push to get it. I've enjoyed your videos, and look forward to more of them. I fully get what you said about habits. Its hard to get back into something after you haven't done it for a while. I'm trying to push myself to get back into the gym. It's all mindset. We both need to get ours right and get going with it. Get back out there on the road Monique, and I'll get back to that weight bench. Congratulations on the new truck. It's going to be a great overland vehicle.

You need to get back into the saddle before it doesn't happen. I have a van and the main reason is security in the sense that if I need to escape quickly, I can just jump into the seat and drive. Whereas, if I had a truck camper or a Jeep tent camper.. that means I would have to get outside and run around to my seat and/or pack up the tent and then drive off. In an emergency situation, every second counts.

Please take your time, no need to rush into another truck. But really appreciate your life update. Please think and plan your next move. With the gas price so high, may be you may change your mind about living in a car. Take it easy. God blessed.
