My heart leaped for joy when you turned back. That $105 ticket, as a catalyst, was money well spent. It helped release your spirit to make a journey to self love. You are wise beyond your years...probably because you have time in your solitude to reflect on your life, who you are and who you want to be. You are a treasure. Thank you for sharing.

"Grief is love with no place to go." Wow! I lost my dad 19 years ago and it is still the most difficult thing I have ever had to go through. That quote is incredible. As soon as I heard you say it I thought I have never heard something more true. Thank you for putting into words something this 53 year old woman needed to hear for all these years.

@@annauncharted Thank you Anna. I really cannot tell you how deeply those words have touched me. You have a special gift with words. I wish I could tell you the loss of your father will get easier but I can tell how much you loved him and you will cry often like I do. We were so blessed to have them in our lives for as long as we did and to have all those wonderful memories. You are a beautiful young lady and I am glad your father was blessed with you. Stay safe in your travels and keep that beautiful heart.

Van life women are strong intelligent and fearless and a breath of fresh air. You all are much to be admired. I wish I had done what your doing in my younger years! I will get out there in the next 21/2 years with a Van and start something I should done when I was your age. I did everything that was expected of me and not what I should’ve done. See America in all its glory, and step out and experience life at a early age. Thanks for your time and energy putting out thoughtful content. Take care

Great quote!: "Grief is love with no place to go." Losing your parents is hard. I was 41 when my Mom died and that hit hard. It was a few years before the random thought of "I'll just call Mom..." quit popping into my head. (We were all gathered around Mom when we followed her wishes and unplugged the ventilator.) My Dad died about 5 years later and that was just as hard. (We had all left the hospital to take a break when the hospital called that he had died.) Eventually, at least for me, the tears and crushing emotion faded. I still miss them. I still wish I could call them or visit. My younger little brother almost died from a stroke five years ago, and that was hard. My aunt died that same week, and I just didn't have anything left in me to drive another 700 miles to her funeral. I feel guilt about missing her funeral, but I had to take care of me. Self care is critical. As a former volunteer firefighter, we were taught to take care of ourselves first by putting on proper gear and air breathing equipment if we went inside a structure. This was to prevent us from becoming a victim who also needed rescuing. I try, and all too often fail, to apply that lesson to my life.

So much heart, so much brave sharing... I do not know you or your father... as a dad myself, I will venture that your father is proud of you and who you are becoming. I have sons well on their own way and have reached that time in my life (67) where I truly understand the fleeting nature of this experience. Keep on keeping on, your heart will guide you. "Travel well!"

You made me cry right along with you..I so relate, the people pleasing, the not noticing how your emotions had gone unnoticed underneath and then they all fall out all over at a seemingly unrelated event. Oh my girl...I relate, and I'm not young. I'm glad you are starting to put together who you are, how you are, now, the beauty of discovering self. It's so important. The acceptance of exactly what shows up. I'm there too and will enjoy following your path along with you. I subscribed! The poetry of your words is truth.

Hey there, your channel showed up on my feed. First time viewer here. I always get comfortable where ever I go, never feel like leaving... Leaving comfort continues the experience. I prefer staying in nature for as long as I can. When I'm in the city, it's lonely. When I'm in nature...I'm never alone. Melt right in. Being an introvert, it's my peace. So many unique and beautiful places to experience... Living... Lol I got pulled over 4th of July...let me go. I m usually pretty good driver. Lol.
