I backpacked through India for one month and never in my life have I felt more welcome or appreciated than when I was there. I could tell millions of stories, like how an entire family gave me a ride just because, how I made friends with some schoolers and their teachers in a train just because, how a girl walking out of a temple told me I was hindduist because I wished good on others, or how I was invited to breakfast by a nepali restaurant owner when I had no money left because "in my country we have a big heart". Sorry to say this, but if travelling around the whole world hasn't opened up your mind, maybe you were doing it for the wrong reasons.
