Junoon is Pakistan’s number 1 Rock band. I have been to one of their concerts in Texas and it was soooooo much fun! All of their songs are awesome! Bulleya, Saiyonee, Garaj Baray, Saqi Nama are a few of the best songs by them

It's not only Pakistan's biggest band but i don't see any other band which had become that big in terms of music and was so influential in its time . They are amazing and their music is always ahead of their time that's why they are revered not only at home but here in India as well as in the other countries of the subcontinent.

Junoon was one of the great band of Pakistan in 90s and 2000 and reunite again in 2017 after 10 to 12 years. Its one and only band of world which performed in United Nations Newyork and Sayonee song got 1st prize in V channel awards in 90s.

Great reaction. To answer atleast 1 of your questions, the only Westerner here was the bassist Brian O'Connell. This concert was, if I am correct, to celebrate their 20th anniversary. And if your Dad really loves 2 drumsets in a Pakistani gig, then here's the perfect suggestion: Takatak - Fault Lines (if metal is your thing) :) Edit: If u do decide to react to this song, please react to another Takatak performance - Phantom, but the Velo Sound Station production one - this way you'll get a chance to glimpse some Pakistani classical dance by one of our legends as well :)

They were called the U2 of the Asia by a prominent magazine, I forgot which one but they were really really famous in those days. Also, they sufi-rock band which is a new genre that they created. IF your dad is hard rock fan, listen to "Jilawatan by CALL the Band" in Pepsi Battle of the Band, it is a LIVE performance. If you think junoon is good here u should listen to their concerts 20 yrs a go. In terms of songs way too many good ones Saaein, Khudi, Sajna, Husan Walo, Jazba Junoon, Yaar Bina and many more. One of the few bands who u could listen to an entire album and not just 2 songs. I'd recommend u listen their live videos of performances in Central Park, NY which to this day I think is their best performance ever.
