First bride gives a budget of $2,000 - $3,000... first dress is $3,000 and then the next two go up from there. Kleinfeld consultants constantly disregard the budget provided by the customer. They should respect the budget for the dress, after all they'll make more on the accessories like the veil, shoes, bling belts, etc.

It’s all a retail tactic. Is it fair? Not in the slightest but it’s how they keep their doors open. If they put a bride in something say $200 more, test the waters and see how they react then they push it as much as they can. If they fall in love with a dress $500 more the bride says, “what’s an extra $500 when this is the dress of my dreams?” The consultants I can imagine make commission as well for not only the amount they sell, but the price in a time frame as well. Marketing is insane

The consultant is there to sell and make money. Yes it is wrong to disregard the brides budget but it is the responsibility of the bride to keep her budget in tact. Also I think the bride get a paycheck for being flimed. The consultant is doing her job well if she sales over budget ( like it or not ).

Napiera - First dress was drop-dead gorgeous on her!! Flattering, classy - I can't imagine anything wrong with it! But someone in the entourage said it doesn't show off her figure?!?! WHAT?? Whoever said that is just nuts! Second dress was pretty, but - as I've always said about figure-hugging dresses - it actually managed to make it look like she has a tummy bulge. Where it came from, I don't know because she obviously doesn't HAVE a tummy bulge. I've seen very, very few of those types of dresses that don't give that impression, though. Third dress was very nice, but the huge skirt overwhelmed her body. I'd love to know what she ended up with. Valerie - Dress was perfect! It managed to fly in the face of my earlier comments and DIDN'T give her a tummy bulge, LOL! But her mom... boring? REALLY? The woman has a screw loose! And how she said it was so weird: "If you like it, it's boring". Which kind of implies that if Valerie didn't like it, mom would think it's amazing. And the bow is hideous! Talk about ruining a beautiful dress!

That second bride’s mother…😠 I am sure the daughter is much closer to her dad as I was with mine. Her dad seems like a really good father who genuinely loves his daughter. This bride’s mom brought back memories for me from the early 1970s, when my mom wanted to put me in a hideous prom dress with a bow on each shoulder, though I preferred a beautiful white eyelet dress. It was more expensive, but my dad saved the day and bought the white dress for me. I am just glad that the bow on the bride’s wedding dress was detachable, as it was hideous on that dress.

@@SondraBerry I think it was just bad editing. The full episodes usually include 2 brides choosing a dress and one bride getting fitted and then getting married. They tacked on the 3rd bride's wedding without introducing her so it looks like it's the 2nd bride's wedding.
