I 100% agree with the gentleman in her entourage, the strap on the dress was just not doing it. Once they removed it, it was like a whole another dress. She is absolutely gorgeous !

All she did was pick out a dress that she liked. Which mom on SYTTD has NOT done this? Just because the bride had a chip on her shoulder about her mom not finding the dress first means that the problem was with the mom. Her mom was NOT insistent upon her pick, nor did she only want bling and mermaid gowns. She was a mom who wanted the best for her daughter. What is wrong with that?

Ditto on Anastasia looking beautiful in all the dresses, but I did love the Mark Z. dress without the straps that she chose. But, I especially wanted to comment on the second bride’s gown. With her fair skin and red hair, that pink dress was perfection. It just didn’t have the same gorgeous impact in ivory, however she did look beautiful at her wedding.

I agree with Terrence, that the Zunino was "pageant girl gone bridal." But what is wrong with that? She is a pageant girl. She loves the silhouette, and she loves fashion. And it is ALSO soft, romantic, and doesn't have bling. I liked it with the strap, because it gave her dress something she hadn't seen before, and she was looking for that element. But it also is beautiful without them. She picked GOOD!

i think she was right to take the strap away. it was just too awkward, it looked like it was choking her. without the strap it looks like a truly bridal gown, it's soft and romantic, and with the veil with the little flowers on it it's just perfect. i want to put some little white floral hairpins around the top of the veil and send her down the aisle!

The Zanino gown just had a thousand times more class than the Pnina gowns. I think it did look better on her without the strap though. I think the strap woud be good for a more flat chested girl- bot security and to create some symmetry with the flared bottom

I know that dresses of today are designed without the traditional hooped undergarment in mind but I would love to see them wearing them as well. To me they give the dress so much more sway as the bride moves. They show off the train, layers and details of the fabric and so much more. Nowadays there are so many different types available that accommodate all the various styles of dress. It’s only my opinion but I think it showcases the whole drape of the dress and stops all the messy over-falling of the back, even on mermaid style gowns. I know I am old fashioned. I’m 56 so yeah, I embrace that part of me. I really enjoy this show.

i wore a hoop skirt under my wedding dress, problem was i didn't have any petticoats to go over it and the hoop wasn't long enough so there's just this LINE on my skirt that looks ridiculous. i wish more dresses came with the petticoats actually stitched into the dress, i didn't even realize i would need that much layering underneath to make the skirt lay properly.
