That problem will happen if we continue to have a population boom and if we convert our lands to subdivision. There are countries who managed to retain 60 to 80% of their forest and natural parks like South Korea or Japan but that is because they choose to settle in the urban area with limited spaces.

This comparison is just ridiculous...first India and Bangladesh have more in common in terms of culture and proximity to ASEAN nations than East Asian countries like SK & Japan...you also left out Vietnam and Taiwan who are major players in Asia. Singapore is a city-state that should not be included since you can take Tokyo or Seoul metropolitan areas which still is way bigger than Singapore and would no doubt be in the 3rd behind Japan & Korea.
