When they talk about how you see oddly modern technology in Naruto, like TVs, VHS tapes, and even cars in the movies, yeah that always raised more questions. I get that it's one of those things where they're like "it's a world that mixes the past and present, having old traditions and stuff, but modern tech" but the problem is that there's so much "ancient Japan or whatever" and it's only that for so long until you just see a TV in one scene and you're like "wait, what?" Imagine if in Dragonball, for like a hundred episodes, there are no houses, everyone lives in straw huts or something. No vehicles, everyone gets around by walking, riding horses, or magic stuff like the Nimbus. Nothing looks modern. Then they pull out a space pod to do some training in heavier gravity. Or one of that general guy from the original Dragonball pops up on a huge ship. It's just like, "make up your fucking mind!"

I just realized that the reason why I never just straight up got out or stopped watching Naruto was because I didn't stop watching it by choice and I played the Ultimate Ninja Storm games. I was watching the dub through Cartoon Network/Adult Swim Toonami, I was a kid at the time. So I was keeping up with the show for the most part, then it stopped airing, I don't know where it left off, they were probably waiting for the new dubbed season to be done, but I didn't know how any of that stuff works. It just disappeared for a while, it might have come back in a new time slot and I didn't hear about it, then Shippuden came out on Disney XD, a channel our TV package did not include, I also don't think it was on any streaming service at the time (plus as a kid/young teenager, I probably wouldn't have wanted to read subtitles). Since I couldn't watch it, I got the story through the games, so I got all the important stuff with pretty much no filler. I'm having a legitimate revelation, cause I know if I had the opportunity and tried to keep watching the show, being expected to sit through, like, 300 episodes of filler, I would've just stopped watching like these guys did! I do think the show should fuck off cause of all that filler, I remember checking on Netflix, the original Naruto series has 500 episodes, but the final story arc, where Sasuke leaves the village, which should be about when the jump from Naruto to Shippuden happens, is only around episode 250. I was actually shocked to see that when the show should have ended was followed up by 250 episodes of nonstop filler! I tried to get into Boruto a little bit, but around episode 18 I was like "these guys still haven't earned their headbands, so technically this seems to be even slower than Naruto, at least he got his headband and was on a team by episode 2 or 3!" I took that as a sign that they haven't learned to stop filling these shows to the brim with filler. So essentially, I remained in a weird limbo between in and out, because I got the story through the only way I thought was available to me at the time, until Boruto when I said fuck it and stopped!

AND TRY FOR A DAUGHTER!!!!! i'm aiming for a son and we'll marry em off so we can spend even more time together without it being suspicious....." and as for Tenten, could have made her a super weapon master. like made her a warrior goddess with those damn weapons, or atleast make it so the weapons she spawned were of legendary power or some shit. seriously weapon summoning is such a cool power but did nothing with it cause the author forgot bout her and said "ah feck it, just make even more new characters when i need something fixed" btw not a Naruto fan, but pieced this together from people discussing this shit and me doing some basic research on shit.

I just realized something weird with Naruto's story. With certain characters coming back as zombies later on, specifically Hokages 1-3, since they've been dead and could not have trained or learned new Jutsu (along with any characters in similar-ish situations), they are somehow retroactively stronger. Specifically looking at the first two Hokages coming back in the beginning of this game, though I don't remember too much of the fight when I watched the anime, and you could blame it on the fact they're stuck in an arena, but they seem to be a lot weaker than when they come back at the end of Shippuden, I also feel like the third Hokage similarly is stronger at the end of Shippuden than in this fight. Just seems like a funny thing, cause like Orochimaru being stronger when we see him early in Shippuden is like, well maybe he learned some new stuff.
