For a 4-2 rotation, does the Libero affect that at all? Or they will just be across from whatever position they are in for the back row?
@ThriveVolleyball9 ай бұрын
Good question. The rules do not change for a 4-2. They will be across from whichever player they are in for in the back row.

Two questions: Can the Libero hit the ball over the net at any spot on the court if it is below the top of the net? Also, can they sub in for anyone in the back row and serve?
@ThriveVolleyballАй бұрын
@@GoodMorningGoombs A libero can attack the ball from anywhere as long as the ball is below the height of the net. They can replace anyone in the back row but can only serve for one position. Once they serve for a specific position, that is the only position they can serve for

@@ThriveVolleyball So say, the Libero comes in for the player in zone 1 at the start of the game, they can only serve when that player gets to zone 1?
@ThriveVolleyballАй бұрын
@@GoodMorningGoombs That is correct. The original player in Zone 1 can also still serve if you want them to, but the libero can only serve in that position now

@@ThriveVolleyball thank you! Last thing, when the libero goes to left front on the rotation. Does the player that was subbed out for the libero go in for the libero?
@ThriveVolleyballАй бұрын
@@GoodMorningGoombs Yes, the player that the libero replaced would come back on once the libero rotates into the front row

What was the reason of introducing the concept of Libero to the game?
@ThriveVolleyball2 ай бұрын
@holulu777 the libero was introduced to volleyball in hopes of having better ball control and leading to longer rallies

In that particular set you have on there. Does the Libero only serve for M2? For said set?
@ThriveVolleyball Жыл бұрын
Correct. The libero can only serve in one position per set. In the next set, you can change it if you want or keep it the same. But once the libero serves in a position, they can only serve in thar position. However, the M2 is still allowed to serve as well
@gregprice7458 Жыл бұрын
Can both Liberos serve (for the M2 in your case) in the same set, or just one?
@ThriveVolleyball Жыл бұрын
@@gregprice7458 Great question. Both liberos can serve in the same position in the same set. The two liberos are essentially treated as the same person.
