Honestly, I'd like for him to be have leaked the picture just a last "damn you" to the World Government for putting him in this situation. He wasn't doing it happily anyway, like the obedient dog the Gorosei wanted him to be. So, before dying, in his last moments, dude messed up their situation by leaking the photograph.

Shortly after Guernicas "death" there is a scene where the Gorosei talk about losing a top agent and angering Kaido to stop the nika nika no mi. That scene would be really weird if Guernica survived. We also never saw him leaving Onigashima, and his partner left alone, implying he is the only one left.

they assume hes dead cause they know the orders they gave him would lead to that outcome. but they arnt present at wano so of course they wont know whats actually going on. it doesnt make that scene weird from their perspective. its perception vs reality

This is an unknown at the moment. The picutre, the loss of contact with "CP0", etc. I wonder if they would've referred to losing contact with one member as "CP0" rather than a member. But yeah the writing is similar to a Pell death. Written clearly to be one thing and likely going to turn out not to have been that thing. I think Pell is the one that hurt the most because it was not expected but since then, Pound's might've been the worst. But considering Oda's writing and the lack of shown death scenes being actual death scenes, the CP0 member being alive is more likely than not. Kinnemon survived a similar attack after all.

Just a small correction (love the videos btw Tekking) it is pronounced "ger ni ka" on phonetic international language so for english speakers, "Guer" its pronounced with a hard G as in the english word "Guru" (ignore the "U" you dont pronounce that "U" in spanish at all) ,then "ni" as in the word "knee" and finally "ca" as in Sun God Ni(ka). Hope it helps. I forgot so ill edit it here. the accent for intonation is on the "knee" syllable so Ger (kneé) ka

Pretty sure Tekking is either dyslexic or simply jumps to conclusions and never takes a second look at words in the first place. He does this absolutely constantly, leaving out letters or reversing them all over the place. It's kind of infuriating to listen to as someone who puts a LOT of care into making sure words are correct.

Drake being a reptile lover and into astrophysics kind of makes sense to me because dinosaurs are related to reptiles and the meteor that took out the dinosaurs. Atleast if you are going for the dino man angle specifically.

It is nice to hear about the way all straw hat members help around the ship. Chopper makes medicines and skin care products, I am sure he also writes health non fiction books to ensure the others are aware of dangerous plant species and various diseases to be cautious of. Brook writes songs and gives Nami hair care advices (makes sense because hair is all he got yohoho). Robin probably collects information on artefacts and historical events and keeps them on her shelf and she gives Nami massages etc

Kid’s backstory is incredibly interesting and would be intriguing to see a flashback of it during a time where Kid is going through strife like Law. Maybe Shanks or Blackbeard has taken control of the Kid Pirates home nation in there absence and they clash? Also Kid is kind of similar to Whitebeard/Law/Oden/Doflamingo in the aspect of recruiting enemies and then taking over a country.

@@AnyMEmdq Ashura Doji was literally a bandit, Kinemon and Denjiro were thieves and con artists. I believe through strife and warfare, WB met most of his crewmmates. Doflamingo and Kaido garnered respect from their crew through their strength and leadership. Meant to add him. Both Kid and Law met their main crew mates and essentially told them to stop fighting each other and ally with him. Both met their 3 closest friends and formed a pirate crew.

Guernica is also a town in north Spain, it was bombed by the Axis in World war II, Pablo Picasso made a famous painting depicting the event ( a barn with people and animals inside being engulfed by flames), You could say Guernica´s mask (One piece) is based on Picasso painting style "Cubismo" with would roughtly translate to Cube-ism

I think I'm in the camp of Guernica surviving the initial hit, severely injured he gets his photo of Luffy but he succumbs to his injuries, he either got the image away via den-den image transfer tech we've never seen or a CP0 member collected his den-den at some point and left, or he survived maybe, idk man.

Shanks' base of command is an island called "X Mark or Rum Island or God's Paradise". It's an X shaped island (reference to the location of treasure on pirate maps) located before or near Lodestar. It serves as his monitoring base for pirates (trying their luck) searching or wandering to find Raftel. The 4 corners of the island have its own pirate crews and area of responsibility. The north fleet commanded by Kornol, south fleet by Grog, east fleet by Umeshu and west fleet by Lager. Shanks is the guardian or protector of Raftel and has assigned a part of his armada in monitoring the area going to Raftel.

When you brought up astrophysics I was like- YES I LOVE IT. And then proceeded to realise THAT'S what I'm interested in and want to work with (currently just taking seperate courses in university to try out different things and see what i like the most - not really comitting to anything) So I paused this video and searched up different uni's and programs and now im thinking of applying to a 5-year physics program with astronomy specialization (or however you would say it in english lol)

What if Reiju's ability came from practicing a form of Mithridatism (interesting story behind that name, look it up)? Basically, ingesting non-lethal amounts of poison to build up tolerance or immunity. In our world, it does not work against all poisons, but there could be some tech or manga logic involved. Rasputin may have practiced this since he was somehow able to survive multiple lethal doses of poison which should have killed him almost instantly. In One Piece though, Magellan might have tried something similar, but I'm not sure how effective that has been. I'd like to think Killua's family uses this practice as well.

I love Guernica he has the best style. I actually kinda cosplayed him for Halloween ten years ago.... Actually I was a "member of the court of owls" but none the less it was a white suit with long coat white featureless mask and a bowler hat. I think I would be alright if he survived but he better at least have lost an appendage or something like that. Preferably getting his right leg smashed into bits so he can never use it again...
